"The owner, Sam was great to work with and very professional. The crew of men that he had working with us were very nice, but the quality of work was not as good as expected. After the work was supposedly complete, I had to go back and ask them to fix several things that looked like they had not been done by a professional. The caulking was sloppy, you could see many imperfections on the brand new walls, the new showerhead leaked and ruined our  new sheetrock (which they sent someone to look at it and he then said I would need to call and get a job order for it-isn't that why I had called in the first place?). We had a clear vinyl sheet placed over the wall where our resident's bump against the wall with walkers and shower chairs. It was installed where the piece had cracked. I had sent pictures to the owner as well and said he would send someone over. They looked at it but never fixed it. The quality of work was much less than I expected. <br />"

"Touch-up grouting was a bit of an issue and some touch-up still needs to be done. It took longer than I thought it would.  At least one of the vendors did not provide what I had asked for.  One provided a vanity basin without an overflow drain which I specifically asked to have (but I can live with), contractor wasn't good about cleaning up after himself.  Written cost estimate was seriously lacking in detail but fortunately the contractor was good about remembering things that we had discussed.  Contractor did not leave installation instructions for shower, ceiling heater, shower, etc.  I had to call the contractor back a few times. Didn't help that he lost my key. Fortunately he had a locksmith change my lock at his expense.  Gap left between wood inside door frame and the door frame itself. Used a pneumatic nailer.  Space was covered but the brads left splits in the wood which I will have to patch and stain. Going on line I discovered that there were instances where he should have used a sealer between the tub faucet plate and the tile which he did not do. All said I'm not terribly pleased with his work.    should have gone with the first contractor (M and L Haugen Inc) that had remodeled my kitchen."
