"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil. In its place, the team installed new fencing, a beautiful cedar pergola, repointed brickwork on our home, irrigation, a synthetic lawn alongside fresh sod and thoughtfully selected plantings, outdoor lighting, a stunning bluestone patio with brick steps and retaining wall, a brick and bluestone fireplace, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator. The project spanned nearly five months, during which a few scope changes arose. Each one was handled professionally and flexibly by John and his team. Their commitment was clear: the crew showed up consistently and kept the momentum going, which we greatly appreciated. "We used to love this service and gave them glowing reviews on Google in the past, but something has changed. Their customer service sucks, they don't apologize, don't call back etc. We had a hot water heater installed 2 years ago. It is still under warranty. Yesterday, 11/9/25, it broke and started leaking badly - still under a warranty from them. A.J. Perri advertises as they are 24/7 company, but they would not come yesterday and would promise us that first thing this morning, at 8 am, they would be knocking on the door. They never came, never called and never apologized. In fact, they have an attitude for misleading us and at 10 am mo one is here. The technician (do they only have 1 technician?) Is over 1 5 h away at another job. Customer service sucks with them really badly and now I feel as because we called them and voiced our dissatisfaction, no one will reach out to us or help us, while we are covered by their warranty. We had to pay for another service last night to pump"
