"Came by and gave an estimate. Since I could get a discount at the major supplier's store he gave me a list of what to buy, and a labor estimate for the work. On the scheduled day David showed up with his crew and later that day I had a quality fence in place. The bill for the labor was slightly less than his estimate. I was pleased with their work and happy that they kept the schedule. <br />"

"Mike came in to estimate putting our kitchen back together after water damage. He found all our base cabinets and all appliances in our living room. He and the insurance estimator came in together as it was convenient for our rep to meet them once. We were in Florida at the time of the damage and were doing this long distance! A month had gone by before the insurance gave us our quote for what they were paying. After some negoiations about the depreciation we got our final numbers and Mike's estimate was just about on the money. We had received another estimate from the dryout company but had decided we didn't care for them. Both appeared on Angie's list. Mike gave us good advice about picking out flooring from a distance and also assured us that when we arrived we would be able to use the living room. He sent us pictures as he got started so we could keep up with the progress. We were very greatful for that. He had to strip some damaged wallpaper and was able to match the wall paint precisely. He put new drywall where needed and skim coated all damaged areas. He replaced base boards and was able to reuse the tile backsplash that had been removed and matched the existing grout in other parts of the kitchen. He was able to get the flooring and he did a wonderful job installing it. He also had to remove more of the damaged carpet and it all looks so much better. He was able to repair the damaged countertop even though it would have been hidden by the stove. He likes his work to be perfect. He is also taking the time to look for some drawer glides to help with a few drawers missing same.I want to thank the owners of the other jobs he was already working on as he pushed our up to the top of the list since we were arriving with short notice. They should know they picked an honest, trustworthy person to do their projects and who has great tradesmen working with him."

"I have horses on a small acreage property. Most of the fencing that was present needed to be replaced. The acreage is on a mountain terrain with very little flat ground and in many places shallow rocky soil. Not the easiest fencing job in the world. Terrance had the expertise and background to install a sturdy fence complete with rock jacks and rock cribs for support that should be in good shape for 50+ years. Terrance returned phone calls quickly, came out and did a detailed estimate and started working immediately after getting all the required materials together. He and his crew worked long hours steadily from start to finish and completed the job in less than a week. From start to finish, Terrance was ready to answer any questions I had and if a problem arose during construction due to some aspect of the terrain and a change needed to be made he discussed the solution with me. Terrance was courteous and professional, has the expertise needed and completed the work described in the contract completely and promptly."

"We recently bought our first house, which came with big front and back yards and lots of garden areas and flower beds. We also recently brought home our first puppy and we simply could not keep him out of those areas. He was dragging stuff up by the roots and eating every bloom. I had looked into (and was actually planning on) putting in an invisible fence myself, until our vet gave us a pamphlet for a local company that does professional installations. I'm so glad she did! <br /> <br /> I called and spoke with Carrie -- the local Invisible Fence dealer. We scheduled a walkaround/estimate for a few days later. She was immediately a pleasure to work with. She thoroughly explained the products available and asked smart questions. Something I appreciated very much: she never tried for a hard sell on the more expensive products. That annoys me to no end. She started with their most basic fence and answered my numerous questions in order to help me figure out which product would be right for us and our pup. In the end we went with the Boundary Plus fence, which is a little spendier than the others, but far more precise -- especially if you have a lot of curving garden areas or flower beds. <br /> <br /> A few days later she came over for in-house training. She and her tech set up a small boundary in the house and marked it with lawn flags. We then put the collar on our pup, Carrie set it to a and quot;tickleand quot; setting, and we started getting him used to the and quot;toneand quot; he hears when approaching a boundary line. He picked up on it pretty quickly and Carrie was a good and patient teacher, letting us know how to work with him on the boundary, when to reward him, etc. <br /> <br /> A few days after that, the actual installation took place. Carrie and her technician Mike got our ~.25 acre yard done in about three hours and marked the whole boundary line with flags. My wife and I came home from work for the final training. Carrie showed us how to get our pup accustomed to his new boundaries. It didn't take long, and it has already made a huge difference in our lives. Now, if the weather is nice and the pup wants to be outside, we can let him out for a while without worrying whether he'll eat a pound of rocks, roots, and dirt. <br /> <br /> We are very pleased with the results and the overall experience. If every service provider were as good as Carrie, there wouldn't be a need for sites like Angie's List! If you've been thinking about getting an invisible fence, please believe me when I say that it's worth it and that Carrie is the person who can help make it happen. <br /> <br /> PS: I had to know what the shock would feel like for my dog, so I zapped myself a few times. It's not bad at all. More of a quick sting that gets your attention rather than something that actually hurts. Our pup doesn't mind the collar and he has already learned many of the places in the yard he can't go. This product really works."
