I was already surprised and confused as this was not the norm the past few years hiring folks for different projects 😀 for our home. "Scott painted a bedroom in two colors and a bathroom vanity. He also installed kitchen door knobs, a chandelier and a dining room light fixture. All questions about the projects were answered and he also provided information/suggestions for future projects that are being planned. The standout during the renovation process was his orderly, neat and tidy work areas; clean-up after the projects was minimal. Great work at a reasonable cost. "I've been very satisfied with the excellent work done by the Browns. Some of the numerous house jobs they completed include: painted 6 interior rooms, removed popcorn ceiling, applied special paint to the garage floor, installed 4 ceiling fans, light fixtures, shelves, installed multiple curtain rods, accessibility grabrails, TV mounts, gym pull-up exercise bar, toilet bidets, spackled and repaired large cut-out holes in the ceiling, replace door handles, and assembled shelving units and furniture. The plumbing work included repairing the dishwasher and garbage disposal, and a leaking shower valve. They are my go-to for home projects and repairs. Honest, competent, reasonable and fair pricing, clean, and courteous."

"Bruce repaired our back door with amazing precision! It was an awkward metal door that was installed by a prior rehab contractor (over a year ago) from standard to wheelchair width door. The door was never flush or mounted correctly. As time went by, the door became unusable. Bruce tackled the challenge with ease and made the door fit snug, smooth & with a solid feel. For a little extra, he also installed a new storm door we purchased to the same back door. Even though he ran out of time on the first day, he returned the next day and cheerfully finished up and made sure that I was totally comfortable with the feel and sturdiness of the doors. He also suggested an additional safety lock which he picked up and installed that as well for both front & back doors. Once we get our foundation in order, if we have any other issues with any of our doors, we will be calling Bruce for estimates for those adjustments. Pilot Point is fairly far from most decent, reliable contractors. I can't tell you how many flaky guys are around who don't know their craft! Bruce made a difference in the quality of our lives; literally. I take care of my disabled hubby; unable to do even the simple things due to energy or time restraints. Our back door was taken from a 32" to 36" by a contractor we used a year ago. It was never installed correctly and was incomplete. It finally stopped working. Bruce gave a quote for the repair & re-installation, as well as for another nominal fee, to put in a new storm door. When he was done, our door finally fit properly and we now have a beautiful storm door bonus! There are no gaps; it is airtight, snug and easy to open & close. He pointed out where the other contractor missed some points, and showed what needed to be done & why. He was very patient. He did not rush, and actually came the next day to complete it to the level he wanted it to be. All of the "T's" were crossed and "I's" dotted, from what we saw when he was finished. Noting my hubby's handicapped status, Bruce also came up with suggestions of improving & smoothing over transition over the threshold. He adjusted the ramp from outside to fit the new door threshold location, and made helpful suggestions for the transition portion inside the house. He also noted additional safety measure we could install at our door lock area, and we asked that he put it in place, and he did so. Thanks, Bruce! It took a long time to find someone who knows what he is doing. We highly recommend Bruce for those jobs that seem overwhelming, but are very important to you, and they just have to be done. Bruce is the exception, as he knows what he is doing, and he does it very well. You may find his quote a bit high, but he does deliver quality craftsmanship, you get your money's worth and you will not be disappointed! Thank you, Bruce, for our wonderful back doors, and we WILL be contacting you for other projects in the future! You are a blessing!"

"Nick constructed new cabinets to replace units that were water damaged. He was very reliable, brought other quality contractors into the mix, did not require constant supervision or oversight, and created a quality work product. Recommended."

"Very responsive to our immediate needs, when our home flooded. They got the wet floors pulled up and the leak fixed. Due to not having extra flooring, we had to pick out replacement flooring and carpet from our initial install in 2016. That said, with the flooring being under the kitchen cabinets, the cabinets had to be pulled out and reset. They did a great job getting that done and putting down the new laminate flooring. However, the final details for finishing up leave a lot to be desired. There are nicks here and there, touch-up paint looks like it was done by a child. Then I got a final bill and before I paid him what was due, I wanted to first review it with the insurance company, just to make sure it was all as they expected it to be. He got nasty! He did not disconnect from the call he and I were on, when he and his son had a very nasty discussion about us, how much money we had, that we drive nice cars, and live in a nice home. Would not hire again!"
