"I have been using Flor's Cleaning Services for nearly 15 years. During that time, my wife and I moved from a smaller condo to a larger home and had a couple of kids. During all that time, we have never had a problem with Flor's. Not once. The cleaners show up on time, they do a great job, end of story. Once in a while over the years, we have had to hire another cleaning service due to unexpected scheduling issues on our part. These cleaners have been fine, but never as good as what we get from Flor's. I think one reason Flor's is so great is that the proprietors focus on hiring quality people and they retain them. "I purchased the deal via Angies., May 25. Gary called a couple days later I think to schedule service. I was travelling a lot and so we played phone tag for a bit and finally we were able to get hold of each other, end of June. He scheduled the service for me for July 3, 2017. On that day a lady came over. On time, very nice personality. she proceeded to clean up my place. About 4 hours into the job, she stopped by to say she was done. I asked her if she had deep cleaned my appliances/fridge and she said that wasn't part of the service. I should ask Gary about it. I told her I will and she then left. I then walked around my place and noticed quite a few things that weren't taken care of. I started making a note of things. I then decided to write an email to Gary telling him about my experience. I waited for a few days before sending him the email (via Angies) because I wanted to gather my thoughts on paper, synthesize them and then calmly send him an email. Here is the message I sent to Gary after about a week. I then waited one more week to see if he said anything back. He did not. Not even an apology so I am reaching out to you. ---------- Hi Gary: Thank you for helping me schedule cleaning for my place. The lady who came by was super nice and went right to work. I was very pleased with her personality and work ethic. However, having said that, I also wanted to send you some constructive feedback, if I may be allowed to do so. :-) I waited to send this because I wanted to synthesize this list in my head first and make sure I double checked everything I have mentioned below. Take it as you may. I am simply stating it as I see it and nothing more. Absolutely no bias involved here. The coupon that I bought from Angies List specifically stated that the cleaning service was a deep cleaning service. I went back and looked at the fine print several times to make sure I wasn't mistaken. It says: "$96 for 5 hours of housecleaning; extra time can be purchased for an additional (LIST AMOUNT HERE) per hour. Offer includes deep cleaning of your kitchen (appliances included), bathrooms, and bedrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash". However, there was no deep cleaning performed. My kitchen appliances, such as inside the refrigerator and oven, was untouched. Furthermore, there were some other things, that I felt, could have been attended to even as part of a 'normal' (not deep cleaning) 5 hour cleaning service offering. I have listed these situations here for you so that you may be able to, perhaps, empathize with my point of view: I have a porcelain floor in the basement. After the cleaning, I noticed shoe footprint marks on the porcelain floor in the guest bathroom area and the foyer/hallway area by the washer/dryer closet. I noticed dust under my coffee table's lower shelf (This means she did not lift any of the paper/magazines under the lower shelf to clean the dust out) I noticed some debris still around within the kitchen sink There was dust around the window sill area (inside of the house). I wasn't expecting someone to open up my windows and clean the sill space although that would have been nice because this was advertised as deep cleaning. I also noticed dust on my TV stand (The TV screen did appear to have been dusted but I noticed dust on the corners and around the back of the TV. I have a flat screen TV on a stand. It is easy to dust behind the TV. I do it all the time). Also noticed a few dust bunnies on the floor by the dining table. I noticed dust by the side table's lower glass shelf. Master Bathroom - glass doors - still had some water/soap stains toward the bottom of glass wall. Bathroom vanity cabinets - The handles and door frames and rims weren't cleaned at all I was also very disappointed to note that she did not clean the recessed niche area within the bathroom. Oven - I have a GE gas oven. The iron grills on top of the gas burners didn't look like they were cleaned. There was some dust around the stairwell railing area My trash can wasn't emptied She finished in 4 hours (instead of 5). And nothing is wrong with that in theory. Afterall, if there is nothing more to scrub and clean out, then why hang around for nothing. However, all of the above could have been done in that extra hour and that is where my disappointment sets in. I took some time to send this over to you because I wanted to take time to think about what I was about to say to you. I also wanted to talk to a few of my friends first to see if I was being very unreasonable and anal retentive about this stuff. I was told I wasn't, that these details are part of any normal cleaning service and that you probably would appreciate it if I spoke up and said something so here I am, doing just that. :-)"
