"Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we requested an estimate from Quality 1st for two jobs -- inspect and repair a brick chimney and repair our stone porch which had started to sink. Oscar came out within a couple of days, talked about the project, sent us an estimate and we hired his company. Couldn't be happier. Oscar told us the job would take one day, and we were a bit skeptical about that. But he did it and he did it well! Two crews came out and while one tackled the repair and repointing of our chimney, the other worked on our porch. Watching the crew repair the porch was amazing. We requested all the stones be reused because they were original to the house. When each stone was lifted, it was placed "puzzle-like" on a tarp, and after reinforcement of the sunken parts of the porch, the stones were replaced in the the same manner in which they were removed. The chimney is fixed and no longer losing bricks. We trust every bit of the work performed that day. The crew was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable--and Oscar worked right beside them. I would absolutely hire Quality 1st Maintenance again."

Thiago, the owner, replied quickly to my initial call, requested photos by text, and was able to come to my home within a couple of days to provide an estimate of the repair.  To my great relief, he had a break in their schedule, and within 3 days of the estimate, his team was able to come and repair the steps.  The men were very precise in their work, choosing each stone individually, and cleaned carefully after the job was complete.

Once he started the job he felt digging up the yard for drainage was not necessary saving me money on the project. He did not bring heavy equipment on to my yard minimizing damage. He dug around my pool putting in proper drainage system then put stone within Belgium block. It looks great."

"Jeff was great and easy to work with. He was very responsive. I had several issues that Jeff was able to help me with from plumbing to electrical to carpentry work. He set the expectations in the beginning and kept to the schedule. He cleaned up after his work and kept the house clean after the work was completed. Jeff is a real professional gives advice on what actually needs to be replaced or if work is not needed. He doesn’t try to push additional work that is not necessary. I trust Jeff with all my future projects and would highly recommend for anyone needing work done."

"Chimney and flu was a mess. They re-pointed all the brick, Added a flu extension and put a new concrete cap on the chimney. Took pictures for me so I could see what they did. Looked great. Would definitely recommend"

"Phil and his team again came through with an amazing job at my house. Had an issue with my chimney causing a leak in my house. One side was tarred for some reason. Every contractor told me you have to knock it down and re-brick if you want the tar off (the water was actually running behind the tar past the flashing causing the leak). One contractor told me my brick was bad and had to re-brick, another told me i had to repoint and re-tar the brick. Phil and his team not only removed the tar off the chimney but repointed the chimney and repaired the cement on the top where the caps are for the fireplace and heat for an amazing price. I will work with no one other than Armstrong Masonry. Phil will be honest with you and tell you exactly what needs to be done and not bang you over the head. Being able to trust your contractor goes a long way! Thank you Phil again for an amazing job! I wish I can post photos to show the before and after."

"They did a great job, my front steps were broken I had a white PVC banister and slate and brick steps the banister broke and it broke one of the slate steps and it was dangerous it was a hazard I reached out to them immediately they got back to me right away everything was A+. They did a great job they came in significantly lower cost wise than the other folks that did estimates and I did my homework and I got many estimates. They were normal a few of the folks that I've worked with in the past and I have gotten as far as contractors and similar professions are a little bizarre sometimes and everybody from Fred's chimney magic from the front office to the folks that did the work did a wonderful wonderful job and I have nothing but good things to say about everyone from start to finish. They cleaned up they were very competitively priced and they did excellent excellent work. I would definitely recommend them. I have a very large driveway they power washed sanded and sealed it."
