"DP Palmer is hands down THE BEST! I was lucky enough to have DP Palmer’s crew complete a complete kitchen remodel in my mid-century condo (in less than 30 days!!) several years ago. When I decided to replace my original front door with an updated mid-century upgrade I knew it would require a new frame, sill, trim, and weather-stripping in addition to the door itself. As a board member in my Queen Anne Condo association I wanted the work to be competent, quick and disturb as few neighbors as possible. DP Palmer did not disappoint, once again! With their expert guidance I chose fiberglass over a wood door for durability, sound proofing and general appearance. The door arrived painted, and work was completed within one long day. Removal and disposal of the old door, preparation and installation of the new door including framing,hardware and keyless touch pad. All trim work on the inside and outside of the door was installed and painted and the crew left at the end of the day leaving me with a fabulous, professional installation. DP Palmer’s reputation continues to soar! There is no better restoration contractor in the business."

The team power washed and prepped prior to starting the painting which took about a week to complete with two people working long hours. "Patrick, Manuel, and their whole team were fantastic to work. My house is 100 years old, two stories of cedar shakes, and hadn’t been painted in 15+ years. Needless to say, this was not an easy project and required lots of expertise and hand scraping, sanding and priming to even get paint to stick on the old wood. Patrick was so knowledgeable and created a great project plan and Manuel and the team worked diligently over several days of very hot weather to get everything done. The thing that impressed me the most was their communication skills, which were the best I’ve ever experienced on a house project—Patrick provided a proposal in only 2 days (amazing!), answered emails and texts within 30 minutes of receiving them, and the team provided updates everyday. Everyone on-site was so nice and helpful too! And, most importantly, they made my old house look GREAT!"

"Getting our house repainted became quite the experience with Hedlund. Started off great, easy to work with team eager to make us happy. Ended with salt in our mouth, feeling like pulling teeth to get them to finish project they had started which took almost a year to complete and only if we stayed on top of it. Team was easy to work with on planning with details easy to understand and pricing inline with competitors. Primary paint days went good even when we changed color of gutters and trim after first day of paint. Had many touch up issues and team didn't appear to have much attention to detail on our project as multiple call backs as we continue to find issues. We did have a issue with Hedlund on the cost of the change paint requests since a written quote was never provided for the change, instead a bill twice what was discussed was presented at end of initial painting. We also had an issue with an entire side of our house and paint drying oddly, like a surfactant drying issue. This is where the frustration started with Hedlund as first we were asked to wait a few months to see if the paint would just fix itself. Then it was lets get the paint company out to see what the issue is. Then it was blame the siding on the house. Then it was lets try some alternate solutions. Then it was we forgot we hadn't completed your project for 6 months and never once attempted to stay in touch with us. Then it was alright you keep bugging us and contacted our owner so we will come back and work on this issue plus the new issues shared where paint not even a year old is already cracking, peeling and calking also not holding all around our house. Finally the one side of the house that wasn't finished was finished a year later along with all the new issues but when the cracking of paint on our back deck was redone it was done with the wrong paint (house paint not deck shark skin paint) and done without covering the below brand new concrete patio resulting in paint drips all over our new patio. A crew member came back out and poured paint thinner on our new patio and told us to just leave it for a few days. It ended up staining our patio in multiple places. Hedlund's response was "oh sorry". We were able to power wash most of it out ourselves thankfully but still can see it in some areas. We really like the paint color of our house. The way this company worked with us just got worse over time which was disappointing and frustrating and results in us not being able to recommend them to anyone."

"We asked Roman and his team to interior paint our 1500 square foot house, with multiple colors, popcorn ceiling removal, new baseboard installation, and repainting of doors and trims. On top of this, he completed this effort according to our requested timeline. He was very communicative, provided great updates, and many teaching moments about the painting process, which we loved! He also provided a quality guarantee at the end of the project, and offered to come back to correct any paint issues within the following week. When it came to pricing, he was fair and clear about the reasoning behind items. Make sure to fully define the scope of work during the estimate phase to make sure you are both on the same page. Overall, Roman and his team provided amazing quality, very fair pricing, and solid communication throughout the project. 5/5 across the board! In fact, we are going to ask him to come back for exterior painting in the future because he did such a bang up job with our interior."
