I was in the process of purchasing the property and Brad provided an estimate within a day that so that I was able to use this info during the negotiation with the seller. Replacing knob and tube wiring is an extremely complex and difficult job that requires a very knowledgeable contractor with the right tools and a great deal of respect for the structure and integrity of the home. Brad and his team had all of these qualities and more. This job took almost 3 weeks of continuous work and effort by a team of 3 electricians. Brad and his team did an amazing job surgically rewiring the house with minimal invasion and without damaging the walls or structural integrity of the home. In the areas where the walls were opened, Brad and his team very nicely filled in the holes with onetime wall patching material which I later sanded and painted. Also, at the end of every day, the team made sure that the house was spotlessly clean. Even though we had not yet moved in, we could have lived there while this work was being completed. They kept it that clean which was impressive considering the scope of work the team had undertaken. Throughout the process, Brad and his team were a pleasant, very communicative and would consult with me on any decisions that had to be made. Brad was extremely thoughtful throughout the process and really did an amazing job at our home. As I said I would highly recommend Brad Brown for knob and tube replacement or any other less complex electrical needs."

"When doing an inspection for my new home, I had Gen3 Electric come in and perform a specific electrical inspection. The contact who visited our home Josh T. was amazing. He came in and got into the details of our electrical system. By the end of the visit he was covered in dust and had a few pages worth of notes for us. He was able to provide us with detailed information regarding what systems were in need of repair, what systems could use a repair and what systems were already OK and not in need of service. This was amazingly valuable. He was professional, timely and understanding of what information we needed. We also had an outlet installed by another technician Dave C. He matched the level or professionalism that Josh gave us with the added benefit of performing the work. He protected our property, was friendly and professional. "The quote was nearly 50% higher than our lowest quote and about 25% higher than the next highest quote. Also, the electrician recommended a GFCI breaker, which would have been incompatible with our installation (the outlet was to be used with an electric vehicle charger that has built-in GFCI protection). Doubling up on the GFCI can cause problems and is against the installation directions. I wouldn't expect the electrician to know this necessarily (he didn't see the installation directions), but he boasted that they have worked with Teslas, so perhaps he should know (or stop using that as a selling point). Wes Carver Electrical was the only one to recommend GFCI, which added even more to the cost and put that part of their quote about 75% higher than what we ultimately paid for the work."
