"The backsplash grout is cracking at the counter top as it has done in several places. While the first time the grout cracked, this company came out to fix it, the second time I was told it would be called "maintenance" and I would be charged, even though the work should still be under warranty. The first time it happened I was told that's common problem which surprised me. I don't think maintenance is an excuse for not fixing a problem created by the company. This was a special kind of grout and should not be cracking within months of the project's completion."

"It was easy to sign up with Rob at 5 Star Kitchen and Bath because he was full of promises and has a likeable personality. However, things haven't gone so well. We got off to a good start but a couple of weeks in, plumbing issues with the dwelling had to be addressed. After a 2 week pause, getting them to return and take this project to completion in a timely manner has failed. It's been 2 years and still not done. I am nervous about the reliability of the work in the showers. I watched them do the waterproofing. I expressed my concerns to deaf ears. The tile work is average. I still don't have a working temperature control after 30 mos. I asked for insulation under the tub for sound reduction and they didn't do it because it wasn't necessary. It was for me. The plumber for 5 Star has yet to return to fix the water hammer in the wall that I hear everyday, as well as a few other things. Unfortunately, against my better judgement, I let him talk me into paying for the project before it was completed on a verbal promise he would take care of everything."
