"I was looking for a competent landscaper to remove, repair, and rebuild an existing patio which was falling apart around the edges and had weeds coming up through the pavers. I contacted Frank Bergin whose team of workers (Angel, Junior, Orlando, Ruben, and Rorlando) I had observed installing a neighbor’s patio.. "I definitely recommend GMC landscaping to anyone looking to do hardscape work and will consider him in the future if I have any other projects that I would like to get done. I hired Jorge to install a new set of front steps and a couple relatively large retaining walls around my driveway. Throughout the entire process, he was very easy to get in contact with and if I ever had a question, he was always very prompt to get back to me. Jorge was also very flexible with me as well. I was working on a budget and was willing to put in some labor myself to tear down and dispose of the old steps and wooden retaining walls. I was able to do most of the demolition work myself before his crew came out for the prep and install. His crew are extremely hard workers. There were a few relatively hot days and a lot of the work needed to be done by hand. His guys have an extremely good work ethic and it was impressive seeing them get so much done in a short amount of time. Each one of the blocks they used weighed 80lbs+ a piece and I can tell that their work is going to stand the test of time. The walls and steps are straight and level and the quality of materials used are going to last a long time. The results have blown away my expectations. I've had multiple people stop after seeing the new steps and walls installed and asked for Jorge's information after seeing his work."

"The work turned out great. The joints are tight and lined up well. The corners were curved to add a nice touch so the pavers had to be cut along with cutting the smaller brick border bricks. I had about a 2 foot slope of land under the patio and a large slope for the path and step area. This work was done by 4 guys over two hot July days. The bobcat helped dig and rough level it. A lot of material was moved around along with at least 4 pallets of pavers and the blocks for the steps. To finish it off, they put down top soil, grass seed and hay was placed down to finish the job off very well."

"Anton and his crew are the greatest! We truly enjoyed working with them, Anton is extremely responsive, extremely dedicated, and most importantly, a true artist/artisan. We asked him to use only reclaimed wood and the most environmentally sustainable materials. He researched the best environmentally sound ways to insulate our house (using stone wool and alternatives to Tyvek, which we did not want to use because it's from DuPont) and he made numerous trips farther upstate from our Mid-Hudson house to locate the perfect reclaimed wood at old barns that were being torn down and resold as reclaimed wood. He gut renovated our really skanky old house into a magnificent jewel of post and beam construction to the point that peoples' jaws drop when they walk in."

Angelo is very straight forward and provided a fair price and Alex and the workers are fast, hardworking, and did a beautiful job. Their material supplier has everything packaged and bundled up so you don't get a big mess dropped in your yard or driveway. After the project was completed the workers did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them."
