I got the massive 6 inch gutters. This was a game changer for my roofing system. The gutters were installed in the afternoon and 1 hour after installation, it poured down really hard. I watched the gutters and water came down smoothly compared to before where it will just overflow. I compared it to my neighbor’s 4 inch gutters and water was just over flowing out the gutters. "Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."
