"This company may not be a scam, but's it's close to it. I received an incoming call from Handy, from a really noisy call center. The price seemed OK and I scheduled them to come in a couple of days. But wait! They asked for a debit card or credit card for payment in advance. Hum? Give up critical info, to someone in a call center, to a company I knew nothing about, that called me? I don't think so. They would not budge by the way; offered to pay cash or check before they started once here. I don't doubt they can send cleaners, but this is off the wall. For residential house cleaning: a call center and payment up front? I suppose institutional or large commercial companies can live with this. Residential? I'd look elsewhere."
