Customers say: Quick response

"We were persuaded during the bid process by Pabel's professional manner, his eagerness to meet all of our project needs and the opportunity to interact directly with painters and not just an estimator who would have to convey our requests to others. These workers were able to start within a reasonable amount of time without having to wait a lengthy time to be scheduled. The bid amount was about the same as others, but this company was willing and able to do extra detail work on the exterior that we would have needed to hire someone else to do. The owner was easy to work with on paint selection and the crew did a good job prepping the wood and brick. They cleared plants and trees that were around the perimeter of the house and took care of extra jobs without being asked. They even carefully shifted a bird's nest so they could clean and paint and returned it to its original location where the Momma Bird continued to care for her eggs. The whole project was meticulously completed in record time, including highly detailed, three colored painting on front porch spindles. These guys were artists! Additional requests were handled quickly and with a positive attitude. It's refreshing to find highly motivated professionals you can count on. We’ve already hired them to do another project!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Midway, UT

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
