IVP Design Studio
Igino Pellizzari is the Sole Proprietor of IVP Design Studio. He has been involved in building design for over 35-years in the San Francisco Bay Area . From 2004 to 2012 he was a Principal and Director of Design of the licensed architectural firm Studio Abitare in Emeryville, CA. Currently Igino is providing his services as a Residential Building Designer under California Business and Professions Code 5537 that does not require a license. If the scope of a project exceeds Section 5537 limitations, then Igino works with a registered structural engineer who will provide the specifications and calculations for that scope plus sign and stamp the documents. This is an invitation to work together, to begin a conversation to understand your goals, explore options and opportunities, and get to know each other so that we may collaborate to arrive at the best solution to achieve your objectives. Igino would look forward to the meeting with you to start the process and begin next steps.
" After purchasing our historically registered Maybeck house which had been neglected for years, Igino worked with us to bring the house up to current building standards (new foundation, electrical, plumbing, and most recently, taking on the challenge of replacing a chimney situated in the middle of the house.) In addition to these basic but very important improvements, Igino worked his way through the rest of the house, interior and exterior, consulting with us and making updates in keeping with the design integrity of the home (including a full kitchen re-model.) Finally Igino re-designed and managed from the bottom up (foundation to new pitched roof) the construction of our backyard cottage for which he received a design award from the Piedmont Architectural Design Committee. Igino is a pleasure to work with. He listens. He communicates well. He pays attention to the budget. He’s dedicated to getting the job done right. "
