"Friebel's team exceeded our expectations. The work was beautiful, they executed quickly, the individuals who came out each day to do the work were polite, hard-working, and cleaned up after themselves. We ended up needing them to create window wells, add a lattice work barrier between our carport and the back yard, and to close up an existing firepit in the yard and fill hole in. "Arranging the initial consultation was pretty rough. Their main guy for this if I recall his name was Pat, and took multiple attempts trying to reach him directly and leaving messages at the office number in order to get him. Once we did get a date setup he was great to work with and polite. Install date was set and the team arrived on time and did a great job and the fence looks incredible. The only other slight hiccup was that the post toppers order got lost in the mail in their initial shipment so we had to wait a couple extra weeks before those got put on but once they were it turned out perfect."

"Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project.  He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job.  On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer.  I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word.  The bobcat didn't do any damage.  They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory.  Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result.  The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows.  After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete.  Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty.  The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete.  I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat.  . They were also careful to clean the house, driveway and the area at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.   "

"Meet with Alan and told him that I wanted to start over with my landscaping.  The only ideas I had were to removed 3 trees that had grown too close to the house and rebuild the retaining wall in front of the house.  Everything else was up to Alan.  He took measurements of my property and told me he would be back in touch with me in a week with a design.  He completed the design in a week and we met to discuss his plan.  The plan had a drawing of my lot, where plants would be placed, a description (with color photo) of each plant, and an itemized cost list..  I told him what I liked and didn't and he went back to revise the plan.  I agreed to the revisions and he scheduled me for late April early May.  About a week before work was to start, I told Alan that I was unsure about the retaining wall design.  He revised the plan again and suggested that I visit a stone supplier to view my options.  After the visit, I decided to go back to the original design.   
Unlike other landscape companies that have 8-10 people on your property, tripping over themselves, Rochell had an on-site manager and never more than 3 people on the job.  It took a couple of days to removed all the old stuff.  The retaining wall took about 3 days to complete, and about a week to re-cut the beds, trim the current shrubs, plant new stuff, and lay new mulch.  By not having an army of people of people on-site, I think there was a greater attention to detail which led to a "crisper" look when the job was finished.  Several neighbors have stopped by to commented on how good the new landscaping looks.
