"Mose is very talented and easy to work with. I sent him several pictures of fireplace surrounds I liked. He built a prototype and came to the house to discuss and confirm design options before building it in his workshop (no mess at our house was a plus). Typical of an old house, the installation required custom fitting. He took his time and made sure every detail was right. It will look even better once we paint and make it the showcase of the room!"

"Tim did a fantastic job with our kitchen. He worked with us through the process, coming up with solutions when we encountered unexpected challenges. His craftmanship is remarkable. Tim tore out our kitchen and drywall, installed new drywall and overhead lights, a new ceiling, installed new cabinets, and installed the tile backsplash. Everything looks better than we could have imagined! We will certainly hire him for any future projects. His estimated timeline was perfect and he started right when expected. Fantastic contractor!"

"Working with Pete was seamless. Previously I had two very bad experiences with a CAD designer and a certified architect. From day one of contacting Pete I knew we finally had the right person. He listened, understood the concept, the ideas, the difficulty and ran with it. He was very easy to work with, timely, understanding. I handed him a rather daunting puzzle and he came back with a solution that I couldn't have imagined and now I can't imagine anything else. I genuinely can't say enough nice things about working through this process with him. <br />"

"They removed shoe molding, hung plastic to secure the rooms, sanded the floors, applied the stain and then the coats of poly. (over a 3 day period). They always let me know before they arrived each day and updated me on their progress and what would still need to be done. The floors look great. This is the second job they have done for me and I am very happy with the results"

"We've worked with Scott Hall Remodeling twice so far-- once back in 2010 to remodel two bathrooms at our old house, and again in 2018 to finish the basement at our current house. You get what you pay for. They are a group of reliable professionals who will provide you with an excellent end product. Our basement now is higher quality than our first and second floors in our opinion! Our house is a new build (built in 2016), and on hindsight we wish Scott Hall had built our entire house! They also stay mostly on schedule with their projects, which seems to be a rarity in the construction industry. Our basement's finished space they worked on is roughly 1600 square feet. We put luxury vinyl wood flooring down throughout the entire basement except in the workout room where we opted for rubber flooring. Scott Hall uses high quality materials such as wood trim (not MDF which our home builder used unfortunately for the trim upstairs), top quality paint (again better than our builder used even though we upgraded when building), etc. We contacted Scott Hall Remodeling around May '18. Developed the layout and signed in June. Purchased the cabinets in July and Scott Hall's crew started work in August. Work completed for the most part in November with some punch list items wrapping up in December. Joe Davis was our construction manager and we would highly recommend him. He's very respectful of the fact that he's working in a house that you need to continue to live in during the process. He listens to any concerns you may have and does his best to find a solution. Our egress window was drafty and I wasn't satisfied at first; Joe returned to find a solution and made sure I was 100% satisfied before he moved on (which I can say from experience, most contractors would've just walked away and said their job was done. Joe actually cares that you're happy with his work!) Our crew was great, if you are planning on doing a project with Scott Hall, be sure to ask for Bryn, Joe, and Andrew!"

"Team was very professional and hard working. Correy supplied a visual 3d design prior to the work. The work was done in just a few days and with high quality. I would hire Fletcher again. I did not shop around prices much, so not sure how the price compares, but it seemed fair based on the professional work done."

"The structural defect was a complex job. It required placing scaffolding under the affected area to use a jack to level the roofline. The defective structural post was removed and replaced. The roofline alignment was corrected without damage to the patio structure. This work was accomplished in one day by two very skilled workers."

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Milledgeville, OH

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
