Customers say: Super punctual

"Hired ZR Landscaping to rebuild a retaining wall with paver patio that was poorly installed just four years earlier by another contractor. Zach diagnosed poor drainage behind the wall as the reason the wall base was washing out. Zach had a detailed, competitively priced written proposal to me in under 24 hours. He offered to reuse some of the existing blocks to reduce the total cost. Our project was scheduled just a few weeks out, not months out like a couple other contractors had proposed. The crew was punctual and very hard-working for a solid four days. Crew leader Julio answered all our questions and kept us informed through of each level of the new installation. Zach came back by himself to see the completed project, answer a few questions and make sure we were satisfied."

"Their work ethic and workmanship were above expectations. When we encountered an unexpected development in our project (a granite boulder the size of a Hummer in what would be the corner of our patio) they tried for days to chip it out. Thanks to Reggie for all his efforts, but we finally compromised and ended up with a rounded wall rather than square and some additional work done on our driveway. Very honest and conscientious people. When we are in the market for future work we'll skip the bidding and just call David and Anna."

"Guillermo and Edwardo surpassed my expectations. I have had disappointing experiences in the past with male crews. I am a 67 year old female with grey hair and crews in the past have tried to take advantage, did not listen, did not communicate and did shoddy work as fast as they could to get the job done. These gentlemen were respectful, they listened, they talked with me throughout the project and they were perfectionists. They were careful to the extreme to make sure measurements were accurate.... proper water runoff.... slope.... and also discussed city code with me. I won't be fined or have to pay for a permit or bring in an engineer because they followed city code. The best part is how beautiful the project turned out. My retaining wall is amazing as well as my new flagstone walkway. I took pictures of the entire project. Text me for photos. 828-231-1760"

"Pat, Jim, and his team were a pleasure to work with. Jim designed our space and designed it with all of the features we wanted. Each work day, they arrived to the job site on time and worked **** ** our job. After the job was completed, Jim came by our home to check the patio after it had rained to make sure there weren't any spots that needed to be fixed. We never had any issues during the construction and would strongly recommend them to everyone. They stand behind their work and do a great job."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Mills River, NC

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
