Thankfully, Angi’s List connected us with NB Woodworks, LLC. Anthony responded quickly to our need. Listening to concerns of both landlord and tenant, he provided helpful logistical suggestions. He managed efficiently all aspects of the project, deciphering difficult to read architectural drawings and working with the city on our behalf to expedite permits and inspections. He kept regular communication with us regarding the project’s progress, issues, and city requirements. Anthony braved freezing weather to finish the ramp for us in a timely fashion, and we are most grateful to him, Thanks to NB Woodworks, our rental now has ADA safe access and our tenant has full use of the building space. "Greg was great! He took a look at the issue and was able to repair a vintage lock mechanism on an old large door of our property. Previously a locksmith we hired came out and claimed that the lock was broken, missing pieces, and had bent parts. I should find a finish carpenter and replace the mechanism - hence I ended up calling Greg. Greg was able to take a look. He was able to reassemble the lock, clean the mechanism, and bring it back to working condition. Greg was very professional and thorough in his work. I will be looking forward to using him on other projects."

T. was honest and offered options. We selected grey which T. painted himself. Very happy with the choice. He also completed the siding all the way down to where the doors are (not done by prior owners), and replaced damaged siding unrelated to door replacement. He worked meticulously. We ended up needing our entire circuit breaker panel replaced, but before going that route Tony made every effort to find standard replacement parts that would fit in our existing panel. He repaired and/or replaced all items on the report in under 8 hours and even checked and replaced expired smoke detectors that we would have needed for our Certificate of Occupancy down the line even thought that was out of scope. He was always friendly but professional (as well as a skilled craftsman), and always THERE. From the get go, his estimate was timely and detailed, but easy to understand and surprisingly *under* any of the other competitive estimates I received (which was a big shock since they were the highest rated company) . Never once was I "sold" to or condescendingly told what I should do. I felt listened to which made it more collaborative. <br /> Materials were delivered in a timely fashion. When work commenced, my house is an old tudor that posed a lot of unique installation "surprise" problems almost every step of the way. Greg and crew addressed each problem above and beyond the call (and price) of the contract and never came to me to renegotiate or increase the agreed price of the contract. <br /> The crew was polite, unobtrusive and cleaned up daily after work was finished. All work was skillfully completed in the time scheduled and everything looks great. <br /> Above and beyond: Along the way the crew found issues that needed to be addressed that were outside the parameters of this job. Greg presented the issues and possible solutions without ever making me feel like it was urgent or he was selling more services to me. In fact I had to ask him, "When I get around to it, can *you* guys do that for me?" lol. Also we decided that new doors should be added to the job. When the estimate came back too high for my budget, Greg worked diligently with me to find a satisfactory way to reduce the cost. Full disclosure, I simply didn't have the budget for the doors or further repair but I can tell you that when I do, I won't have anyone but Jamar do the work. <br /> The best work, materials and communication for the lowest price?
