"AMECAC did an excellent job. First came with catalogs and 100’s of personal pics of his work. Pedro and his son were on time and completely the job as promised. Highly recommend them!! Will definitely have them back for some other work very shortly."

"I am absolutely thrilled with my new backyard!! A few years ago, I decided to hire someone to gut and makeover my bowling ally-shaped backyard. I'm pretty busy and waited until the summer to get estimates. That was my first mistake. By the time June rolls around, most of the quality companies are already busy, Amazing Tree included. Last year, I got an earlier (but not early enough) jump on the process and was able to get one estimate finalized. It was with a different company and during the installation of the patio, I had numerous issues with them. Based on the distance from the house, the patio was not dug deep enough to allow water to shed properly. Then, they placed a ton of dirt from the excavation along my cedar fence, rotting the bottom of the panels. For obvious reasons, the work stopped there and I waited to finish the yard until this year. Around March, I started the estimate process again with yet another company and Amazing Tree. The reason I decided to go with Matt is because he listened... his first design was a near-perfect match to what I had asked for and he included all of the elements I wanted. He also included some ideas I never would have thought of and absolutely love. It was also a finished design, as he included all of the details from tall trees to groundcover and stepping stones. Compare that to the two other designs I got... One was nothing like what I asked for, had a relatively cold and stark feel, and was much more expensive than Matt's design. The other was close, but he kept trying to sell me on additional details I didn't ask for and couldn't afford. When it came to specifics, Matt was also extremely patient with me. I have two dogs... one of which tries to eat every plant in sight. So, there was a lot of back-and-forth trying to find plants that fit the design, but were not toxic to dogs. In addition, he understood that my budget was a real issue. He adapted the design to my price-point and explained what we could cut and/or swap for less expensive plants. With respect to the installation, they followed the exact timeline Matt had explained a few weeks prior and his crew was respectful, helpful and skilled. I asked about 2000 questions during the process and every single one was answered without the annoyance or frustration they probably felt... it was a huge investment for me and, after a company tried to put in the patio at too shallow of a depth, I was watching everything. When the extension of the patio went in and I noticed that EP Henry had yet again slightly changed the colors of the pavers, Matt handled it with ease and made the patio look great, though I'm willing to bet it created a problem for them. On top of all of that, he happily made some last minute adjustments to the plans at my request and helped out with some details that were not included in the cost... they moved my old patio furniture, they buried landscape wire for me, Matt gave me some advice on where to place lights, etc. The finished product is actually more than I expected. He solved the problem with the dirt along the fence while also appropriately sloping everything away from the house. Once surrounded by a jungle of weeds I had no prayer of staying on top of, the patio now feels enveloped by slightly raised beds/berms that highlight the plants and help bring the flowers and butterflies a bit closer. The stepping stone paths to the gate and fire pit area are so easy and comfortable to use, even one of my dogs prefers to walk along them. The plants are beginning to sprout new leaves and it's now my absolute favorite place to be... literally. I couldn't be happier!"

"Can not say enough good things about this company-  <br /> We needed two trees removed- they made arrangements for the removal and the tree removal went well- these were two very old mature trees over the house which is a painstaking process- and they did a very good job <br /> Patio work- everything was set to go- and they discovered a sill plate problem- <br /> could not start the job- and needed a new plan - with the sill plate below ground even if it was repaired -still need a new plan They were already going to rergrade the patio area- but with the unexpected sill plate issue- they had to delay their job and develop a plan to redirect water away from the sill plate once the repair was complete- and they did it <br /> Great to work with- they could have laid the patio and ignored the sill plate issue- not their job- but they did identify it and it cost them time- and money_ they had a crew at our house  to do the patio and had to call them off- until we could resolve the sill plate issue  <br /> Also did our Fall cleanup -did a great job <br /> Would highly recommend them  <br />"

"They had a landscaping architect that came out and he worked with me as far as price, such as what would run me less if I did it this way, and they did a really great job.  They gave me like a 4-year warranty on the patio itself, from sinking.  They're very professional and so they did an extremely good job.  They're really good.  They're very clean, and not a problem at all.  Everything was good."

"We had two excellent experiences with Don and the team at TBS Basement Waterproofing. We had a flood in our powder room that had caused mold to grow not only in the powder room, but also in the adjacent kitchen wall. Don did an evaluation, gave us a fair price for the work, and started the job the next day. Within 2 days, all the work had been expertly done. Don heard us talking about replacing several windows in our 100+-year-old house, and he volunteered that they do windows as well. He showed us a sample, gave us a great price, and we gladly gave him more business. The 10 windows were installed on a Saturday, with the crew taking only 4 hours to complete the entire job. What a difference -- the house feels cozy and quiet now that we have double-pane windows instead of very old, very warped single-pane windows. We highly recommend TBS Basement Waterproofing -- they deliver what they say they will, they arrive on time, and they are very respectful of the home in which they are working. We could not have been happier. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Millville, NJ

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
