We had dead grass, weeds growing everywhere, uneven surfaces, broken rotting fences, and more. Alejandro and Ignacio built a new backyard redwood fence with triple lattice, a beautiful modern Melville retaining wall with irrigation, slate finish patio, modern concrete slabs in the backyard with drainage and irrigation, front yard landscaping, front yard fence, expanded concrete in our driveway, added modern gravel to the front and backyard, as well as, fresh black mulch. After submitting our project to Angi's list, they reached out to us within the day and provided a quote within the week. They were patient and flexible with us with all of our questions and would come out to visit our project site several times as we made changes to increase the scope of the project before we finalized the plan. The project took about a month and they stayed on track with the schedule. Alejandro and Ignacio understood our vision, gave great ideas to add to the plan, and were helpful in calling out any trade-offs. They were onsite daily, easy to each and very open to questions, and providing recommendations."

"Wow! Best contractor experience ever! My project was complicated, and I'm so thankful that I selected NC Marble and Stone Pavers. We replaced 3200 square feet of concrete with pavers around our pool. There was re-grading, new steps, and a heavy jacuzzi that needed to be moved. To make matters worse we were remodeling the swimming pool at the same time with a different contractor, so there were scheduling challenges. I was working from home so I was always going out to check on things, point out minor corrections, and ask their english-speaking crew member lots of naive questions. I made mid-project changes and special requests. Some things were damaged during demolition and I asked for them to be fixed. None of this was any problem for Alex, the owner of NC Pavers, or Eric, his sales manager, and their hard-working crew. They aim to please their customer and were happy to oblige every request I made, even AFTER the final project was done and paid for. Furthermore, Alex and Eric were easy to reach. They answered their phones and texts every time I called. And even though it was a 50-mile drive for Alex, he made a site visit on most of the job days to make sure things were going smoothly. At one point in the project there was a major complication because the pool contractor mounted his coping at the wrong height so it didn't match the paver steps. When the pool guy refused to own his mistake, Alex made things right by offering to fix the pool coping at cost. I would say that NC Marble and Stone pavers is a top notch company in both quality and customer service. And their price was the most competitive as well! "I recently took on a backyard renovation project that began in mid September of this year (2018). The backyard project has been broken into three phases. The first phase was the pavers for the patio and the construction of a bbq island. After doing extensive research, my wife and I settled on System Pavers to hire to do the work in the backyard. Our primary consultant was Lucas. He was amazing to work with every step of the way. He met with my wife and I on a Sunday and planned out every step. We were in constant communication by cell phone, either by text messaging or by direct phone contact. Any time that I had a question or problem, I could always get a hold of Lucas. If he was unavailable, he would always return my phone call or text message. The first phase is now complete and we are extremely pleased with the results of the pavers for the patio and of course the bbq island. I have shared several pictures. System Pavers completed the patio and bbq island. The sink, bbq, and pizza oven were purchased from another retailer and the granite work was contracted out by another contractor. Did we experience some problems? Yes we did. The whole project was delayed over a month due to the back order of the "Sparkling Autumn" ledgers, that is the stone that surrounds the bbq island. We worked with Lucas and his team to discuss our options. My wife and I made the decision to stick with the "Sparkling Autumn" ledgers rather than push the project through and settle on a ledger that would not go with the patio stone. We had to wait through the delays, but it was well worth it. Another problem was that the bbq island was not built to my design. It was built in reverse. Lucas took charge and the bbq island was redone to meet the original specifications. The masonry contractor built the bbq island to an exact fit for the actual bbq and sink. There were no problems coordinating efforts and construction to accommodate the granite contractor. One last problem that we ran into, was an issue of drainage that was discovered when the pavers were being laid down. This was resolved in two ways, first a small retaining wall was built and next a drain will be built to redirect pooling water that was discovered after the down pour of rain that we recently experienced. Finally, we would highly recommend "System pavers" to work on your front yard or backyard project. A huge thank you to Lucas and the staff of System Pavers."
