"Not well, the owner had very poor communication skills! I called to arrange an appointment and never heard back from any personal of the company. Then two weeks after that call, the owner (Craig) and two employees randomly showed up with their equipment. They just started work in my backyard without confirmation that I still needed/ or wanted the work completed. I was alerted to this, by the loud noise of machinery. I looked out my window and saw a huge tractor in my backyard. I went outside immediately and spoke with Craig asking why he was here? Craig reminded me that I had left a message for the work to be completed. I reminded him I never heard back from anyone and no longer needed the services. They then proceeded to load up all of thier equipment. The whole situation was very unprofessional and bizarre! <br />"

"Called Tendercare and scheduled required inspection of back flow prevention valve. Service was performed, and a few days later the appropriate documentation for the valve testing arrived along with the invoice. Tendercare is a well ran business. They installed my sprinkler system 4 years ago, and I've never had a problem with it. They even came back and raised up some of the valve boxes after they settled. They stand behind their work."

"It went great.  The folks at Brady were very knowledgable and they had a pretty good deal at the nursery, albeit probably not the best of the year.  The planting went great and was worth it.  You know this if you've ever dug the hole for a fairly large tree.  The lines supporting the tree did loosen after a storm a few months later and they did come out promptly and tighten them.  They have done everything they said they would and the trees are doing great."

"<p>We did a kitchen remodel, which included relocating the kitchen.  Butler provided custom built cabinets, which are well made and we got what we ordered.  Overall, the remodel was OK.  Once it was completed, the sink started falling away from the countertop.  They did come back and fix it quickly.  </p> <p>Our heating/cooling vent was underneath the corner cabinet.  We were told it would vent through the base and wouldn't be an issue.  Actually, the corner cabinet gets hot or cold depending on what we have running.  We sometimes leave the cabinet open to let the heat or cold air out.  </p> <p>They also moved a door, but the base wasn't quite finished, leaving a gap between the tile and the base of the door.  They also left a small hole above the door in the drywall.  </p> <p>The microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator were put on the same breaker, so we kept blowing the fuse.  They did attempt to fix that, but we still couldn't run the microwave and coffee maker at the same time.  Eventually, we had to pay an electrician to re-wire the kitchen.  </p> <p>After a few months, one cabinet door hinge pulled away from the door.  That was an easy fix.  </p> <p>The price was the main reason we went with Butler; they were significantly less than others, though we did have to spend a bit more to fix the electrical issues.</p> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Milton, KS

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
