He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. Always patient and friendly, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the progression and the outcomes. He’s also committed to backing up his work. "CATASTROPHIC INSTALLATION FAILURE - ABANDONED JOB WHEN CONFRONTED Hired Ardelean Flooring to install 270 sq ft of hardwood flooring. The floor failed within 4 months due to improper installation. When I removed the buckled boards, I discovered: ? Many boards had NO FASTENERS AT ALL ? Where fasteners existed, spacing was up to 18 inches (industry standard is 6-8 inches) ? Failed to use manufacturer-required glue assist for 4" planks THE ABANDONMENT: After the floor buckled, we scheduled remediation a month in advance. On the scheduled day, he texted that he was at "another project north of Seattle" and would arrive late afternoon.
