"I was in emergency need of replacing a timber egress window well and an adjacent paver patio that chipmunks had tunneled into and destroyed. I needed it replaced before it caved into the basement window and now was the time. Secondly, I hoped for finding someone who could install a concrete pad attached to my garage’s slab for a future 3-season screened porch. I was having a struggle finding anyone for either. Patio installers didn’t want to take on replacing an egress window well. Concrete people said they were not comfortable drilling rebar into a 75-year-old garage slab. Greg was able to do all of this! His crew was able to relocate a large stone step used in the old patio and integrate it into a new extension of the newpatio. Greg’s crew was able to masterfully cut the replacement pavers tightly around the existing pergola posts, I was really impressed! The concrete slab was poured within the frame of an existing low-height retaining wall, but the edges were dug out deep enough below the ground for structural support of the future 3-season porch. We needed a railing around the egress well, and while such work is outside the scope of what he would do, Greg referred us to a metal smith who built for us a new railing and metal ladder into the well."

"The owner was excellent to work with. He knew what was needed to resolve our wet basement issues. The crew removed old timbers, bricks, shrubs and a lot of weeds. They packed black dirt, installed edging and prepared the space for mulch. They were prompt, courteous and extremely hard working. I would definitely hire again!"

"The project went well.  Corey and Al were responsive to a few issues that came up during the work time and addressed them.  The only issue that wasn't addressed is that there could have been more river rock delivered, because the end of the pond liner was showing in the front of the garage.  Our project was done so late in the year that we really didn't have time to address this before it snowed. We had to buy more river rock in the spring to make it look better.  When I asked Goodfellows if we could get more river rock through them, they said I could buy it myself at Bachman's.  I didn't dock Goodfellows for this, but I would have been happier if they had gone out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with how the job looked this spring."

"I had major landscaping done recently.They did the deck, the whole repair ramp of the front and back yards. The trees were taken out to have them plant, new trees were planted.The patio was made the deck, was made the patio, was covered underneath.So it was a big project. They are not a cheap company.They are not fly by night, they're very good.They are expensive. I don't think people would hire them immediately because you know, they are one of the top landscaping in the cities.But I did a good choice.They did a good job, and that's an excellent crew. This is the first time I was satisfied by someone who did a good landscaping job. You get what you pay for.This is a big, big business."

"This company is one of those family run businesses you seldom hear about yet they provide terrific service. They have cared for our lawn for many years through fertilization and aeration and the results have always been excellent; but this year a number of things have happened that kept me from doing any mowing or raking whatsoever since early September. The grass was unbelievably long and every leave that fell from more than 20 mature trees and bushes had been compacted into the semi-frozen lawn. We dreaded the real possibility of snow coming before being able to get things all cleaned up. We called AAA and they came out within two days and took care of everything! It was a HUGE relief. We hired them in 2020 to remove a concrete slab and surrounding river rock, grade and install a new paver patio at our home. Debbie was personally involved from beginning to end. "I picked Artistic Landscape by reviewing Angie's List for Landscaping providers. I had identified five companies that I was interested in, with Artistic Landscape being my first choice. I ended up only contacting Artistic Landscape.  I was looking for a small company who would be able to provide design work and the installation services. Chris Baker (owner) came over four about an hour and listened to what we were looking for.  Instead of sending us a quote, he came back two weeks later with a CAD drawing and presented us a design for our review. We discussed different stone (for the sitting wall) and different pavers for the patio/sidewalk.  We had the option to change things up if we wanted to.  After choosing Artistic Landscape, Chris came back again to show us actual samples of stone and pavers to finalize our design. 
The implementation went smoothly. It took them about 4.5 days to get the work done.  Chris had two guys doing landscaping and two guys doing pavers and stone walls. Chris was also here most of the time working with them as well.  In addition, Chris had my six year old in the bobcat (technically a compact track loader) for 10 minutes while he was loading up the dump truck on the second day.  
Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  We would gladly use him again and recommend him to friends/neighbors.

"I think they are wonderful. They are fast and the quality of work is great! I would definitely hire them again a recommend them to other. My only complaint was that I'm experiencing some heaving on the paved walkway. It started about 6 months after the install, but I have not yet contacted Better Yards to see about a repair. I'm sure they will be able to help me, since they were so nice during the install. If you hire these folks, you will NOT be disappointed."
