Quality work, minimal disruption. We realize that having your space overtaken by a paint crew isn’t exactly the ideal situation. That's why we've created a smart painting process that eliminates the hassle and mess you usually get with a painting project. Our personalized, detailed proposals clearly outline our services rendered and the total cost of the job. Our painters then work from the proposals, ensuring every project is completed on time and on budget. We deliver both speed and quality so you don’t have to shift your whole life around. And you won’t even smell paint fumes after we’re gone—we also use zero VOC paint, which is better for you and the environment.
"We unfortunately didn’t have a good experience with Wow. We selected a matte sheen for our interior and they used velvet, didn’t repair nail pops, & used a long nap roller, leaving an orange peel texture on our previously smooth walls. We had some areas needing sanding which were not properly done. To be fair, when we raised concerns, they returned promptly & did a nice job fixing the exterior. They applied 1 coat of matte to the interior, again using long rather than short nap roller we requested. 1 coat didn’t fully cover the shine and orange peel remained. My husband preferred to attempt a fix ourselves rather than having them return again, so we told them it was better. We told them we applied a 2nd matte coat with a short nap roller to further reduce shine and smooth the walls. They did not acknowledge this or offer any rectification. We paid $2400 for our interior, applied 2nd coat ourselves, and are stuck either living with orange peel or paying another company to fix it."

Monarch Painting offers reliable service and quality work at reasonable prices. We are fully insured, members of the Better Business Bureau, and have over twenty years combined experience. We can also help with wallpaper removal, light wall repair, and color consultation. • Monarch Painting uses Low or Zero VOC paint for your green painting solutions. Paints, adhesives, and other protective finishes are often formulated with solvents (or VOCs) to improve performance and durability. VOCs are unstable, carbon-containing compounds that readily vaporize into the air. When they enter the air, they react with other elements to produce ozone, which causes air pollution and a host of health issues including breathing problems, headaches, burning, watery eyes and nausea. Some VOCs also have been linked to cancer, as well as kidney and liver damage. • We are an EPA Certified Lead-Safe painting company, which means we take special care to protect our customers from the dangers of older lead-based paints. Award winning.
"Shane and his team are fantastic. The initial quote was itemized and clear, and the schedule went without a hitch. They are so professional, kind, and flexible. Well worth the price…they are interested in doing the best job they can, not just finishing the job. Highly recommended."

When you paint your deck, you can choose any color, and cleanup is easy, but the paint hides the natural wood grain. Stain, on the other hand, lets the wood grain shine through, but requires more maintenance. The cost to seal a deck is about the same as painting. Consider your personal preferences to see which option benefits you most.
For bare wood or cement decks, you only need to clean the surface before applying the first coat of paint. If you're recoating an existing finish, you'll need to pressure wash the deck to remove chipped paint and debris. Either way, make sure to allow the surface to fully dry before moving forward; otherwise, the finish could peel.
A gallon of paint covers between 125 and 300 square feet, depending on its formula. Since your deck might need two coats of paint, for a standard 300-square-foot deck, you might need two to four gallons. If you're painting a pool deck, keep in mind that the specialized non-slip paint covers less area because the texturized material takes up more space in the can.
The cost to stain a deck ranges from $2 to $4 per square foot, which is similar to the average deck painting cost. For a 300- to 400-square-foot deck, you might pay from $600 to $1,600 for staining. After staining, it’s a good idea to seal the deck; sealing a deck costs $0.50 to $3 per square foot.
Yes, you can paint directly over old deck paint if the existing finish is in excellent condition. You should inspect the surface to ensure there's no cracking, peeling, or chipping before proceeding. If you notice any deterioration, you'll need to remove the compromised paint. Clean your deck thoroughly with a power washer, lightly sand any rough spots, and use the same type of paint to guarantee proper adhesion and long-lasting performance.
Yes, applying a coat of primer before painting your deck is essential unless you're using a combined 2-in-1 formula. Primer enhances the adhesion of the new paint, establishes a moisture barrier, and creates a smooth, uniform surface. Be sure to inspect your deck for any defects or old finishes, and use a high-quality primer to fully prepare the surface for a durable and pristine finish.
