"We lost power during the recent storm. I made a few calls but only Patt responded right away. He was kind enough to come for a free estimate between his jobs on a very busy day after the storm. He gave me professional advice on what generator I should buy, then he made himself available on another very busy day on the Monday after the storm when I finally found a generator. He found a store far away that had the equipment needed, picked them up, showed up on time, did an absolutely beautiful installation, and brought electricity back to our home after 3 days so we could move back in with our little kid in a warm and pleasant home. Patt is absolutely a gem in this business. It doesn't happen often to find such a professional and passionate and responsible person. Someone who works 6am to 9pm on a storm day to help his clients. Someone who doesn't charge extra for this urgent and high-quality service. He could ask for two times the price and I probably would have had no choice but to pay him that, but he was fair, and his urgent work did not sacrifice the quality. "Ken has been our go-to electrician for the past several years, and has completed projects large and small for our house ranging from a simple switch repair to complex installation of a new circuit and breaker box in our garage. Last Spring he installed the wiring and emergency shut-off switch for a split unit air system, which required running a conduit from the basement to the second floor. We have now used the new system through a hot summer and a cold winter, and everything has worked perfectly. I contacted Ossie, based on a positive review I saw on FaceBook, when my general contractor was slow in upgrading my electrical panel as part of a larger home renovation project. The day I contacted him, Ossie came to discuss the work I needed done. He quickly gave me a price quote with a well-written statement of work. He completed all the work quickly including interacting with Con Edison regarding the electrical upgrade. He even found another contractor to dig a trench so we could bury our electrical service, which had previously been overhead. (The existing service entrance was not sufficiently high above the ground to meet current code.) Ossie completed a LOT of work at our home, including: 1) upgrading our mean breaker panel from 100 Amps to 200 Amps, 2) installing a 100 Amp sub-panel in our basement, 3) replacing the overhead service feed to our house with underground service, 4) installing a 30 Amp inlet and interlock switch for a portable generator, and 5) installing three electrical outlets on our deck."
