"The service went pretty well. Three or four guys were out and completed the job in an hour or two. They were very quick and efficient. We really liked that they could squeeze us in so we did not have to wait long to have the job done. They were punctual and their pricing was fair."

"It went great!!! The day before the work was done, Dustin came by to check out the project and give me an estimate. The first thing I was impressed with is that he called me when he was about a half hour away and said he was on his way. That gave me time to be prepared. When he got here, right away he could tell the Japanese Maple had a fungus problem. He gave me quote for the work to be done on both trees and we set it up for the next day. The next day - same thing! I got a call from him and his brother Rusty telling me they would be here within the hour. (Who does that anymore....give a courtesy call?!?!) I was so impressed. They got here and Rusty went right to work and pruned and shaped up the Japanese Maple that I hardly recognized it was the same tree!! It was a beautifully done job!! He then sprayed the tree trunks for the fungus issue. In the meantime, Dustin was getting prepped to get up into the large birch. They do not use a bucket truck, but rather a harness and ropes. He was up there (I could hardly see him behind all the branches) and then branches started coming down. Before he came down he got my attention on the ground to see if there was anything else I could see that needed pruning out. I gave him the 100% beautiful job signal and he came down then. They got everything chipped up, raked up, cleaned up with barely a single flower broke over down around the base of the trees. The price was incredibly reasonable and I would recommend Tillis Tree Care for anyone who needs pruning and tree work taken care of. The price listed here is "after" the discount."

"We have been using LSC to maintain our yard for around a year and a half.  Before they began helping out, yard was unkempt, and our lawn was in particularly poor condition.  TJ's team mowed, thatched, aerateed, over-seeded, limed, fertilized, and mulched our front and back lawns.  Within a 1-2 months, the lawn was dialed-in.  They also trim the bushes/shrubs, and periodically spray for weeds.  The team is polite and fast-working, and we have never had an issue with the quality of work.  We struggled for a couple of years trying to maintain our yard ourselves, but we no longer have to worry about it with the help of LSC. <br />"

"They're good about coming when they say they're gonna come so they don't cancel their appointment or change their appointment time and if they do have to change it, they always tell me that they're gonna change their scheduled date. They're easy to work with. They're in and out quickly. They always shut the gate in the backyard which I know sounds like not a big deal but it is a big deal for the dogs. "Fine. They came to give an estimate on a day when I was working, so I didn't get a chance to discuss specifics. Nevertheless they had a good reputation and the estimate was comparable with another one I had received for the same job. They came on the day they said they would and performed the job to my satisfaction. I would have appreciated a call to let me know when they would be arriving so that I could discuss the specifics with them (naturally they showed up in the 2 hour window when I had to leave the house- they were gone by the time I returned). My only gripe was that I sent my payment check with the Angies list coupon and the 10% deducted from the bill. I then received a letter requesting the "outstanding amount". When I called to get this addressed the receptionist was abrupt and unapologetic for the billing error. The communication with the company was a little below what I would expect and the service was a little anonymous, but I would probably use them again. Ultimately I have no complaints about the quality of the work or the cost."

"Gary was very easy to work with - professional, amiable and communicates well. He came out promptly and at short notice to evaluate the yards so that he could provide a quote. My wife commented that he was very thorough and friendly. He and his team came out when they said they would and did a great job of cleaning up the lawns, de-weeding the perimeter beds, putting down bark dust (which they don't typically do) and pruning the shrubs and trees. Nice bunch of guys and they take care to do a good job. I would definitely recommend."

One time the provider was unaware of a new area of lawn we had put in and missed it with the fertilizer. When I called to let them know what I had suspected, they sent him back out for free. There was another time when they had applied a weed control and when I still noticed a lot of weeds, I called and told them, they immediately sent him back out and repeated the application with no additional cost.
