"Overall we are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. Although there was a long delay in starting the project due to weather conditions, once things got going they were honest, punctual, professional and the results are amazing. Ken worked with us the entire time on everything from the design (which we changed a few times) to the colors we eventually chose. The patio has a border that is a different color than the rest of the patio which requires 2 pourings. On the first attempt to pour the border, Ken did not like how it was coming out because the batch of concrete they received was not mixed properly. He called me to inform me of this (we were not home while they were working) and told me they were going to rip it all out and re-pour with a fresh batch. In my opinion, this shows their honesty and integrity. Everyone who sees the finished area remarks how great it looks. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out."

Previously, working with Paul's partner Jacek, I had had some brick and stone patio steps rebuilt in 2007 for $3,000 and a front patio and walkway rebuilt with pavers in 2009 for $7,200.  Obviously, I have been pleased with their work.</p> <p>I will admit that sometimes it is hard to get their attention for new work or to get much in the way of paperwork.  Also, since they always seem to have a big backlog, it can be a while before they can start a job. "We were able to be very involved in the design process. We began the design process by visiting the shop. When we first went to their shop, we went on a weekend when they aren't usually open and Mr. Brooks made a special appointment to work with us. They were very flexible to meet our scheduling needs. Mr. Brooks took us on a tour and showed us all of our options. It was fantastic! We particularly appreciated that they did a custom stain for us. I had a color sample that they matched exactly. From beginning to end, it took about a month. The actually installation took only an afternoon. The installation and template process were not easy. We have an older home and the walls are not square. They seemed to be experts in what they were doing. It wasn't cheap, but it was comparable to marble prices and I have no complaints. Overall, we are extremely happy with the end product and we've gotten many compliments."

They were fastidious in terms of quality. During the last phase of the project--the epoxy coat--the epoxy didn't stick in some places along the base boards. "I needed to have 2 wooden decks replaced but the price of wood had gone way up in price. I decided to have paving down & called for estimates. Chris from Gold Coast came & made suggestions; took measurements & gave me a price. He always answered or returned phone calls. There was a problem with the sprinkler system but Mike his GM came immediately & the problem was resolved. Their personality & professional were great. The job was held up a few days due to rain but you can’t change Mother Nature. I will definitely use them again & referred them to friends & family.
