"July 2014 - Dan and his crew just finished paving our driveway and we couldn't be happier with the job they did for us! We have a fairly long driveway with a dooryard (and island) and a detached garage with a fairly large apron. He left the site clean and in a better condition than when he arrived. Bill Hayes was very experienced and efficiently and expertly operated his equipment in our tight back yard. We recommend him and would hire him back again. He is very talented and good at what he does, we were very lucky we hired him because he knew how to stabilize the bank. We had been looking for someone that knew how to do this but we're not convinced that just a retaining wall would work. Now our house is protected, our bank is stabilized with large boulders, our bank can now become be a beautiful rock garden this summer with plantings in between the puzzled together rocks. "After the work was completed, I noticed that there were several thinly-applied areas and that there were marks and streaks in evidence. The company's representative stated that the applied sealer had soaked into the driveway surface due to the surface porosity. The representative noted that if the streaking did not fade over the winter, an additional coat would be applied. <br /> The streaks did NOT fade and, furthermore, the snow plowing over the winter caused more scrapes to appear in the finished surface. It was almost as if the sealer was "peeling" off. I advised the company of these issues in August of 2011. The company identified all as normal wear, would not accept any responsibility for either the streaks or scrapes, and never returned to apply the second coat. <br />"

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"
