"I was experiencing my gutters overflowing. Every rainfall, water would spill out of my gutters instead of my downspouts. I was very frustrated. I did some research and discovered Mr. Handyman. They were WONDERFUL. They came and cleaned out piles of leaves from the previous years and now my gutters and downspouts are working properly. This is the first time in YEARS I’ve seen my gutters sparkle."

"They provided excellent service and communication of what was going on weather delays and job progress. We found and hired them when our original painting crew would not finish the job on our new home so when time came for the garage brendon and his crew got the job just not on price which was fair but they got the job because they displayed compitance and care for our project. They even finished what the previous painter didnt finish without complaint. When we have more projects there is only one person getting the call."

"Ecolecuá offers a unique collaborative approach with her clients. On our project, she struck the perfect balance; she listened to our ideas and feedback but very much maintained her role as the creative expert, making us feel comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Ecolecuá with no hesitation. With all she has done, she is going to find the right approach for just about any client. Aileen Dominguez Dentist, Boston, Massachusetts"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Montrose, SD

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
