"This is my experience with Etan Home Construction on a small concrete project. Edward understood my 115sqft project very well from the detailed proposal I sent him. He soon met with me at the project site, refined his understanding and presented an acceptable quote. Work could begin in a very few days. I agreed and it did. The preparation was done on one day and the concrete pour was done the next. Edward had the right number of workers for the job on each day. "We first met with Liz, the landscape designer, and contracted her to do a design plan.  She listened well to our needs and came back with a plan that we really liked, particularly the design of the lawn terrace.  She provided helpful options for our design dilemmas, such as replacements for our gravel patio.  She offered options at various price points to give a sense of the range of options.  In the end, she came up with ideas that we would never have thought of on our own.
The crew did great work. I feel very comfortable with the quality of the work, particularly the retaining walls (including french drains, waterproofing).  Dee, the owner and contractor lead, made some good changes as the plan was implemented, such as incorporating a bench along the lawn terrace and removing unnecessary stairs. They gladly accommodated two changes we made along the way (changed retaining wall materials from timber to cinder blocks, enlarged size of paver patio area).  
We had a few issues getting the new irrigation system working 100%, but Dee was on top of the issues and fixed the items promptly.  He was committed to making sure we were 100% satisfied with the final results.  He said they will come back after 90 days to replace any dead plants and fix any issues, if any.  
Overall, I would gladly work with G & L Design again and recommend them to others with their landscaping projects.  We couldn't be happier with the end product."

"We are thrilled by the results! Mike and his crew took out 10 boxes of dirt from a hill in our back yard all manually! They then installed a 50 x 4ft retaining wall (fully permitted) on the hill. After that poured a 60 x 10 concrete deck and steps to our new upper deck that now overlooks the pool. They then covered the new wall and existing lower wall with new custom colored stucco. We have now doubled our backyard space and for the first time in 12 years be proud to show off our backyard!

"Kaster at Permagreen is simply awesome. Where do I begin... First there was a leak in our backyard that constantly drenched parts of it for good 9+ months and couldn't figure out where the water was coming from. When i called permagreen and informed then of the problem we were having, they came out quickly and dug holes in the ground to determine that the water was coming from the house behind us. We were able to contact the neighbor and fix the overwatering problem quickly. We also had permagreen plant several trees along our wall in the backyard to provide us with much needed privacy and they did an awesome job. The crew ran a new sprinkler line and planted 10+ large beautiful trees along our backyard walls at a price we didn't think was possible. Lastly, they were also able to do a quick demolition of large concrete slab when we decided to remove it in the middle of them planting trees. We will definitely be using them again in the near future for our landscape/hardscape needs. We simply can't recommend them enough.
