"Bryce and his crew did a fantastic job constructing our retaining wall! I couldn't have asked for a better final product, or a better experience overall."

"were done and the weather was good, she came by on the afternoon of Nov. 13th and did the job. She had one other employee helping her. They both did a great job of blowing the leaves into piles and loading them into her truck. She finished the job by late afternoon and easily met both my wife's and myself's expectations. I would hire her again without hesitation for any job for which she offers sevices. <br /> We were both very well pleased. <br />"

"Eli was very easy to work with. When they came back to backfill after the foundation was built, there was a large tree stump that was not fully removed by the tree company. They had to leave and a week later I had the stump removed. Eli had his crew back out to finish the grading for the new driveway with no questions asked, even though it meant another trip to our house. His machine operator, Josh, is amazing, I've never seen anyone operate large equipment in such a small space. Great company would definitely recommend to others!!!"

"I removed the old wall and plants prior to their replacing the two level retaining wall. They showed up and finished when they said they would. There was limited access, so they were not able to use any equipment and all materials were moved by hand or with wheelborrows. There was no damage to the rest of the yard and everything was cleaned up well. <br />"

"Johnston Masonry installed our concrete foundation w/infloor heat in our new home last year, front and back concrete patios, 100' curvy sidewalk and granite wood-stove hearth. I couldn't be happier with their level of professionalism, expertise, timeliness and customer service. When they started our job they never pulled off until the project was completed and exceeded my expectations. I even ended up hiring them to install a new limestone driveway, culvert and yard hydrant! I cannot say enough good about this company and I would not hesitate to hire them again. Very happy customer!"

"Northern Pines was recommended by a few co-workers who had used them in the past. I called and asked when they could come out to look at the project and the owner came out that evening. We received the estimates on the 3 ways the work could be done within a few days. All correspondence and our questions were answered very promptly throughout the entire process. The owner was here on site every day working with his crew. Not only was the owner pleasant and great to deal with, his crew was too. They did a great job of keeping the job site cleaned up each night which was important to us. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done and would absolutely recommend Northern Pines to anyone looking to do have a quality landscaping project done. <br />"

"great guy to work with. Friendly, professional. Eagerly addressed any of my concerns and did not make any excuses. I could tell he wanted results he could be proud of, rather than just rushing through so he move on to the next job (like most home improvement companies, in my experience.) His price was reasonable, in fact I felt like I should have paid him more considering how much effort he put into the job."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Moose Lake, MN

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
