"JUST WOW! AWESOME! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU VANDERHOOF ROOFING COMPANY FOR EXEMPLARY WORK! After a 6 year wait to 'get to the roof'... (Oye vay, our house had needed a lot of work, so we did the inside, and landscaping first.. while the roof waited patiently) This month we FINALLY scheduled to have our - very old, badly maintained, bondoed.. duct taped.. (from WAY back) ..mess of a flat roof ... TOTALLY FIXED! We interviewed 3 companies and went with VANDERHOOF. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we have made since moving to the area. Vanderhoof came in with a swat team of capable roofers, and worked like a band of Army Engineers. They tore off DECADES of badly done roof work, layer after layer after layer. (What a mess of construction debris!) At the end of every work day, they left our yard immaculate. Then they built, and built, and restructured, and redesigned. (Flat roofs need expert attention). The work took a bit longer than they estimated due to the amazing number of layers to be removed, and their painstaking rebuilding process - but the Syracuse weather cooperated *(!!) and the work finished yesterday and it looks fantastic! (Photo shows NEW SPECTACULAR FLAT ROOF! Later I'll dig out the original roof.. it looked like a moonscape of bulbous waves and misguided historic attempts to mesh a labyrinth of disconnected ill selected materials. (We inherited it in 2016. ) I can't recommend Vanderhoof highly enough."

"Jamie Lindsley arrived promptly for our appointment and provided information about the roofing materials- complete with resource folder with pictures and details. He was friendly and knowledgeable. After receiving our quote for our complete roof replacement along with two lower porches, we signed immediately. We had interviewed other companies but found that the estimate from lindsley was the best option- especially for the high quality of materials and a 50 year warranty! They were able to work around our schedule. On the installation day, The foreman, Joe, was kind and informative as well. His crew took care to secure our deck furniture and to be protective of our shrubs and flowers. The demo and install took less than a day - about 10 hours- including an immaculate cleanup. There was one window that they had to reschedule due to the space being very un-level. They ordered a brand new window and scheduled a new date to complete the job for the last window. "Called because the box vents on the above the kitchen sun room (room off kitchen with a vaulted ceiling a separate roof) would leak when strong winds and rain occurred. I called to have them removed since they never served any purpose in venting that roof. They also inspected the rest of the roof and recommended that one vent pipes was in need of repair, and some of the ridge vents were starting to pull up (the nails were rusting). They suggested a better vent system using shingles covering the vent to protect it. Work done quickly and professionally. Shingles matched very well to existing ones. <br />"
