"Kaden was very personable. The railings and pool deck that were painted look so much better. I did have one complaint that Kaden came back and corrected and made the suggestion that when he uses helpers that he should also provide coverings for areas not to be painted. Compared to others his price was more reasonable."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Work and Professional Service! I recently hired Cape Lookout Solutions to paint the interior of my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Matthew was professional, punctual, and easy to communicate with. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions along the way. The quality of the work was exceptional. Every wall, trim, and corner was painted with precision and care. He paid great attention to detail and left everything spotless when the job was done. What really stood out to me was his dedication to getting the job done right. He was respectful of my home and completed the project on time and within budget. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and it truly shows in the final result. I highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy painter. I’ll definitely be using him for future projects. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Morehead City, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
