For us they specialized in restoration of native plants and sustainable, organic gardening, which is hard to find! They have also helped with rock and mulch, sprinklers, pergola and tree trimming. They are reliable, reasonably priced, always professional and super courteous. Our neighbors now use them too based on what they've seen with our yard. I highly recommend this team!"

"I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

I expected the total overhauling and re-designing our landscaping would be a challenging experience. "They had been cleaning for us for several months since about November of 2013. It started off well and then things started to get forgotten like cleaning the tub and turning of the sprayer in the shower. I was willing to overlook most of the problems but then I referred them to a friend and they worked for friend and they never gave them an estimate and he told them it was going to be $375. I have never paid more than $200 and that was on the initial time. Then my friend tried to negotiate with him and say that was just to much without notifying them first. He just kept hanging up on her and wouldn't work it out. They felt afraid that they would retaliate so they ended up paying $300. We have decided that we will no longer be working with them.

"Before hiring Dooling Landscape Service, I requested bids from two other landscapers and Dooling seemed like the best deal. Tim and his team completely transformed out front yard and I could not be more pleased. I enjoyed working with Tim. He is very knowledgeable about plants/trees and does nice layout work. Also, I had some specific requests for the job and Tim accommodated these requests.
Regarding responsiveness... For the initial meeting, it was very easy to set up the appointment. Scheduling the job start date was little bit challenging, but that is because Tim is very busy (which I take to be a good sign). Recently, I needed to contact him with a question about the trees that had been planted several months ago and he was very responsive. I would definitely work with Tim again on any other landscaping projects.
