"Jay, Jamie, and their crew were a DELIGHT to work with — from obtaining an estimate to completion of the project. The crew arrived promptly on the day they were scheduled to begin the installation and were very courteous and hard-working. The entire install was done over three days and looks very professional. In fact, two neighbors have inquired about our fencing, and I recommended Royal Fence without reservation. During the estimation process, we were trying to decide whether to go with wood privacy fencing or chain-link fencing with slats or privacy screening. We ultimately decided to do chain-link with top and bottom railing to make sure the dogs are as secure as possible. When I asked one of the crewmembers why they didn't install bottom railing, he replied that there was no request for bottom rails on their work order. I immediately called and emailed Jamie and Jay to ask if the requested bottom rails were included in the final estimate, as I am on a very strict budget for home repairs. Jamie replied that unfortunately, when the final contract was drawn up, our request for bottom railing was inadvertently left out, but they would make it right. I was so happy to get an email from her the following morning stating that they would include the bottom rails to my order for no extra charge, since that is what we initially talked about. Talk about great customer service! :-) I recommend Royal Fencing unreservedly to anyone in the Greater Kansas City area who is looking for top-quality, yet affordable fencing!"

"From filling out the online for to inquire, to the estimate, to the actual work being done was lightning fast. I was contacted the day after filling a form. They sent an estimator to my home quickly. They provided a detailed estimate for the fence as well as plans for me to look over and approve. The estimate for install after I approved their quote was 4-5 weeks out, which would have put us to June 22 for install. They contacted me about a week PRIOR to that date to see if they could install sooner! It was moved up by about 5 days and we could not be happier with it. The fence itself is cedar, was installed within a few hours. The installers were friendly. They explained what they were doing, how the latch in the gate worked, and made sure I had no other questions prior to leaving the jobsite. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. "Overall we are very satisfied with the build - the deck frame looks strong enough to park cars on it, well planned and engineered, and fully fills the space while hiding an inch spacing around the perimeter beneath the surface decking so that leaves and water don't collect against the house at with the original deck. The one issue I've noticed with the deck is that the screws for the surface decking boards are driven below the surface of the boards; the expansion/contraction of the wood due to warm and cold spells over the past months has left some of the decking boards uneven as the screw heads work deeper into the boards. I may need to replace the 9x3's with 10x's and run the screws just flush with the surface to ameliorate that."
