"I had a deep clean. They arrived on time with several staff . They lived up to their promise of a deep clean, walls, woodwork, cabinets, window blinds, ceiling light fixtures and fans. When I opened the oven door I was stunned at how they made my oven grids look like brand new! Ray Anne provides amazing customer service. I am definitely continuing to hire The Master’s Touch for regular monthly service."

"My house was in need of a deep cleaning from ceiling to floor and literally everything in-between. I am disabled and unfortunately I have not been able to keep up on the maintenence chores like my stove and bathroom and even lawn mowing. I have not been able to do the more in-depth cleaning either like ceiling fans, walls, vent fan, light fixtures, appliances and everything else. I am proud of my clean house again and I am able to have company come over. They did a wonderful and through job. Professional yet personable, flexible and reliable. I will continue to utilize their services and would recommend them for any type of job."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Mount Vernon, IA

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
