The only delay was caused by a backlog at the factory working on the custom shutters. The installation was flawless. <br /> It has been a year since the installation and the window coverings have been a pleasure to have and use. Many of my neighbors have mentioned how much they like the look both inside and out. "I booked an appointment a week or so in advance, for a complete termite inspection of the house. Clark came a little early, which was good since he would be covering a lot of ground. I had the check ready when he arrived. (That gets you a $25 discount.) He started by inspecting windows, both inside and outside the house. He went up in the attic. He put overalls over his good clothes and went under the house as well, into the crawl space (dirt). I was relieved no termites were found. In a few days I received a thorough written report, emailed as a pdf file. It had a nice scale drawing of the layout of the house, and items he noticed that could be cleaned up or fixed (e.g. some excessive moisture in one place, but no leaks. Fungus damage to a post outside the house. Some debris under the house.)."
