"Tommy and his crew are wonderful! I have used him on two different occasions for three a combination of three projects. The first occasion was having pavers added to our front porch area. There was huge slab of cement that had to be removed. The pavers came out perfectly. The sand was done with upmost precision and unlike most peoples pavers there is no grass or weeds growing between them. At the same time, we had Wall Landscaping redo the shrubs/plants in front of our house. He tore out all the old ones, came up with a plan/layout and implemented it flawlessly. He even went and picked up a small tree we wanted him to plant. Most recently (this week) - Tommy fixed a drainage issue we had with our downspouts. They were backing up and basically pointing down into the ground next to the house. This was more than likely causing some water in our basement. Even though it was extremely hot out, they arrived early in the morning and finished the job before mid day. Tommy is professional, communicates in a timely manner and does what he says will do. In addition, he charges a fair price. I will definitely use him again in the future!"

"We had hired Craig in August 2018 to put a comprehensive drainage system in our back yard, which is still proving to be an excellent investment due to he and his team's outstanding work. When we had another drainage issue, this time in our front yard, he was our first and only choice to come take a look. We needed to figure out where an underground pipe in the front of our house was draining, since water was forming at the front corner of our property. A Roto Rooter serviceman told us that the pipe was crushed and needed to be replaced. And when I called Craig to see if he could do it, he said he wanted to take a look first. He brought a few of his team members to our house and dig some digging, both where the water was forming and where the pipe begins at the front of our house. It turned out the pipe does not go to the front of our property at all, but moves a few feet from the house and goes straight down to a dry well. Instead of charging us for labor or simply telling us Roto Rooter was right and offering to replace the pipe, Craig not only told us we could hold off on doing anything, he also didn't charge us for the labor at all. This type of integrity has been hard to find as we have done home improvements over the past few years. It's why Craig's cell phone number is the only contractor's number I've saved in my phone. We consider him a lifetime relationship, and he's the only one we will ever call for this or any type of landscaping work."

"Consultation began in May / June and finessed up in August/September. Easy to work with - offered many options to adjust to my price range and goals for Front and rear yard overhaul. Deer were eating a % of what was planted and the team responded with new alternatives until the eating stopped. I watch how the plants responded to winter and was surprised most actually returned. Those that did not were replaced during the annual mulching session. The team did a wonderful - very responsive and I highly recommend their services."

They were highly organized before they came they ask me to specify or mark the tree's if nobody's home they wanna make sure they will give me a quote for the right work, very respectful and careful not to damage my lawn they do it well respectfully."

"I've reviewed Green Star previously and give them an excellent rating. At that time I only used them for landscaping work. In the mean time the lawn care provider I had used for years left the state. At that point I engaged Green Star to take over the routine lawn care work along with continued landscaping work. The lawn care work includes grass cutting, edging and cleaning up grass clippings and, in the fall, clearing leaves off the lawn. In addition, they do a spring cleanup. Green Star continues to do landscaping work for me including the topping off of mulch around the yard, trimming some hedges around the yard and patching up the occasional bare spots in the lawn. As I said in my past review, their work is excellent. All lawn car companies cut grass, edge and clean up. However, the quality of the work that Green Star provides is outstanding. The edging on some of my neighbors lawn, done by other vendors sometimes appears to be done with a chain saw. The Green Star crew does neat, crisp edges that look fantastic from the street. Clean up is 100%. Landscaping work continues to exceed my expectations. (I hate that expression because it's overused, but in this case it is accurate.) Finally, let me provide an example of Green Star's commitment to customer satisfaction. Green Star added some top soil and grass seed to a few bare patches in the lawn earlier in the year. The weather was quite unpredictable at that time and due to this, the seed failed to germinate properly. Luis, the Green Star owner noted this and told me hat his work was warrantied and he reseeded it in early fall and it germinated properly and looks great. Luis and his crew at Green Star do excellent work and I can highly recommend them."
