His crew arrived to do my neighbor’s home, and a wind and rainstorm sprung up after they had begun the work. They did a great job keeping the old and new material under control, and made sure that the rain would not get through the partially applied roofing. The next day part of the crew arrived at our house and began working. Part of the crew was still working on the neighbor’s house, as well. Our roof was finished the following day, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up the roofing nails and other debris. Our pool and the pool cage had been protected during the work, and everything was in order after the roof was completed. John had explained how to contact an inspector who would complete a report for our insurance company. We are very pleased with the whole experience, and have already recommended John Scott to some of our friends who have also decided to have John replace their aging roof!"

I asked them to be careful of my plants around the house, and they took extra care to make sure not to disturb them (I wish my former lawn guy was the same!). The process seemed to go very smooth. The crew did the first stage of cleaning and prepping my roof on the first day, then came back the next day to put on the granules and seal it. "Found a spot of water on ceiling of my daughters room and called Jacob's roofing to repair roof. He showed up right away the next morning and took some tar on the roof and put it under a few shingles where the leak was and fixed the problem. He was on the roof approximately five minutes and charged $145 and only used a little bit of tar as far as materials were concerned. The bottom line is 5 minutes of labor and tar equaled $145 which I thought was a little steep although he did fix the problem.
