"Nashville Painting Company was fantastic - professional communication, employees, and work! Our project was delayed by one day, but we appreciate they came back during the weekend to finish. Would use again for painting needs and recommend others do the same."

"Suzy was fantastic. Responded in a timely manner and perfectly on task. She reached out when she had a cancellation in her schedule and finished my project two days earlier than scheduled. It was a small project but important to me and she respected that. I absolutely recommend Angel's Painting!"

"We're in HEAVEN! We rehired Ken and his son of KG Painting for a second time--the first time was last year to paint our garage and downspouts; this time it was to paint the inside of our new Pulte home in a variety of complimentary and accent colors and show off the 5" baseboards and trim throughout! We can't believe how rich each room looks and how the colors all came together. It was a lot of detail work and they did a fantastic job in two days, leaving everything very clean with a beautiful designer look, exactly what we were hoping for. They used high quality paint from the Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore colors we selected from Sample.com. Finally, they are delightful, friendly, and positive to work with and we are lucky to have found them on Angie's List. We highly recommend KG Painting."

"Steven and Ernie are the best! Work was completed when they said it would be done. They are polite, friendly, professional and go above and beyond to satisfy even the most detailed oriented customer - me! I have already had them quote additional painting projects as well as some handyman chores. Highly recommend this company."

"It went great! Vincent was fast to reach out, easy to estimate project cost with, and made scheduling a breeze. Very happy with the result. I am definitely open to hiring them again for future home projects, even beyond painting."

"Very professional, quality work and quality materials. Continued to work during extremely cold weather and finished work within a reasonable time frame. Will give a follow up review in March when they come back to stain the steps once the pressure treated wood has dried out. They exceeded my expectation."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Murfreesboro, TN

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
