"He came out, assessed, explained to me what was going on, the issue, went to truck got what he needed and bam, it was fixed! Thanks appreciated it lots!!"

"We highly recommend J.P. McCurdy Electrical Services. We hired this exceptional shop to replace all the old knob and tube wiring (along with switching out a number of light fixtures and installing several ceiling fans) in our 120-year-old Victorian home – a challenging job that a couple of other electricians didn’t feel confident undertaking. Owner Jack McCurdy personally came to size up the job and give us a detailed estimate, and his professionalism, courtesy and extensive knowledge sold us. What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. Joe was great at communicating what kind of activity we could expect day-to-day, especially as both my wife and I are working from home fulltime during the COVID pandemic. He and the crew checked in frequently on our preferences, minimized the number of holes in the ceilings and walls (including avoiding harming our wallpaper in a couple of rooms altogether), and cleaned up well at the end of every day. Jack’s estimate was competitive and the final accounting accurately included the additions and subtractions we agreed to during the job. We feel so much better that we’ve finally eliminated the risky knob and tube wiring and updated the entire house’s electrical system. McCurdy is a full-service shop that does all kinds of electrical work – if you want a trustworthy and capable electrician, give Jack a call!"

"Adam replied to my inquiry for lawn maintenance promptly. He was fairly priced, showed up as scheduled and did a very nice job."

"This whole repair project was incredibly smooth. Quick response, arrival earlier than expected and quick repair. Mr. McDonald was efficient, very personable and clearly explained what the problem was and how he fixd it. Neat, VERY professional and was a superb find. VERY pleased I dealt with him and the company!"

"Chris was personable and got the job done timely however... - heard him yelling/scorning an employee in a quite over the top manner - someone broke a light fixture on the stairs and instead of repairing or at least informing us they left it to the side - without telling us, turned off the power to the basement which also included a socket with a carbon monoxide detector attached so at 3am we had it beeping with a low battery - threw out all of their garbage from the job in our personal trash barrel, filling it up to the brim so with 5 days until the next trash pickup we couldn?t put any of our trash in our own barrel"

"Everything was expertly done. Would definitely recommend and hire again."

"Wil diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and efficiently. He even called back a few days later to ensure all was well! Cleaned up after the job was done. Price seemed fair to me especially since we were in the middle of a heat wave. He is now my new AC service and repair specialist. Recommend him highly."
