"Strong recommendation for plumber. I’ve always done the plumbing on our houses. I’m not great, but functional. We took over both sides of our duplex and wanted to combine the hot water and replace the 20 year old water heater. I worried that this was a bit beyond my skills, so I bit the bullet, called 3 plumbers, got estimates from two and decided on Hudson in Martinsville. They came to estimate the same day. Kedge gave a lot of good information not only about the job, but about our systems in general. I got the written estimate Monday, accepted it and they scheduled for the next morning. Nate and Bill showed up on time. Both were very friendly and informative. And the work – beautiful. I do sloppy pvc. I have done copper and it’s worse. Nate’s work was beautiful. I had been dithering about paying someone to do what I probably could have done and then I saw his work. I saw the difference between an amateur and a pro. $1550. Next day service. Two hours to do what would have taken me at least all day and the end result is a thing of beauty. I’m a happy boy. Hudson Plumbing. Good name to remember. And no, I don’t work for them. I don’t get a discount or kickback. I’m just a very satisfied camper."

"<p>We had 3 estimates.  Altstadt was the lowest at about $3000.  Bud's Plumbing was the highest at over $9000 for the same job. (It pays to comparison shop!) </p> <p>They started on time and were always available when needed on somewhat short notice that is always required when you are trying to coordinate work with multiple sub-contractors (electrical, sheetrock, tilers etc),.  They worked around everyone's schedule with no effort.  Absolutely no issues with them.  Work was top notch.  Highly recommended.</p> <br />"

"We have been using Justin Dorsey as a company for our needs for over a year. We have had many concerns and called them for more than 4 separate issues this year. We first needed their services when we had been in our new home for 2 weeks and our water heater quit working. It was late on a Friday and the tech ran into some difficulties with how the plumbing was run by the previous owner. He worked hard and until almost midnight to resolve all the concerns and leave us with hot water. We have since used them for small concerns with a toilet and sink, a water leak from valve on a pipe, and replacement of our well pump switch. This past week we once again needed their services. We have always had a prompt same day response to our needs. Our water softener was not functioning and leaking. Michael was the tech who responded and fixed this problem. As he assessed our overall needs in our home, we discussed our drinking water. He was able to install a reverse osmosis drinking water system the same day. Again due to previous plumbing concerns from our home's previous owner, he had some obstacles to overcome. Of no fault of his, he had to return to our home 3 times in 2 weeks to get the system to work properly. He was professional and worked with us to fix the problems. We have always been very pleased with their work and how they go above and beyond to not only please the customer, but do the best job possible. "Brent came out and cleaned the line going from the house to septic. Did a great job. Answered all questions and communicated effectively the issues and concerns he had about removing an OLD toilet from our basement floor to gain access to main sewer line. Ended up we found another clean out that worked better and we didn't need to touch the toilet which was a relief. Ive seen posts where people complain about Roto Rooter costs, but he was here a good while so I'm pretty sure we got our money's worth. Saturday service with no additional fees.
