"Overall, I am not satisfied with Hastings and Sons Concrete and recommend using caution before signing any contract with this company. They agreed to perform the job as I requested, however throughout the process they changed how they performed the job. Examples: They still have not provide the diagram with measurement (depth, width, length, and location) for the four pillars they installed after several requests. Without this diagram, I do not know if the pillars are to code. They said they would use expansion joints and used none. Said they would use saw cuts and changed to control joints. Said the patio would be even with door ways, but during installation they said based on code they could not do what the sales rep agreed to. I had to identify that they did not use rebar in one section of the patio, then they added rebar after it was brought to their attention. I also identified that the gravel base was not hard compacted as the mobile dump machine was sinking into the gravel and got suck several times, however Mr. Hastings continued pouring the concrete anyway. I do not believe I saw the whole contract on the computer tablet; after signing, they printed me a copy so I could read the whole contract and I would not have sign or used this contractor if I had been able to read all the terms and conditions beforehand. Their brochure states a 99.9% customer satisfaction rate, after researching this company this does not appear true. The only positive thing is that they were quick to complete the job the next day, minus providing the agreed upon diagrams."

"They were very helpful and which giving me various options for the service. They did a very good job . They came informed for answering all my questions. They did very good job of prepping the area and they are very quick and laying with concrete and came back many times to check on it on what need to do on maintain the driveway. So I would certainly recommend them. They were very reasonable prices, high quality and very professional."

I had a nice conversation with Braxton the owner of the company and I told him what I wanted and how I would like it. The man did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable and confident with this job. That?s just the beginning as they start to tear in and get down to business you can really tell that these guys care about the customer and care about the work that they leave needless to say I was 100% completely satisfied and happy with this company I will definitely be telling my friends and family about them and if I ever need anything concrete work again they will be the guys I call !!! "I contracted Maxxima Concrete for a substantial residential driveway project involving over 40 yards of concrete. While the final product is functional, the overall experience left much to be desired and raises serious concerns about workmanship and accountability. From the outset, I had to intervene multiple times to ensure basic standards were met. For example, the team initially resisted digging deep enough to accommodate a proper 4-inch gravel base—something fundamental to long-term durability. I also had to correct their handling of the mesh wire reinforcement, which was laid but not properly elevated during the pour, compromising its effectiveness. The finished driveway includes visible engraved marks along each control joint—an aesthetic flaw that was acknowledged but not resolved. Instead of addressing the issue, Maxxima offered a discount, which felt more like a way to avoid remediation than a gesture of goodwill. They did extend the warranty from one year to two, which I appreciated at the time. Unfortunately, they have not honored it. I’ve reached out via text and email consistently over the past six weeks regarding discoloration and two areas showing early signs of cracking—just three months post-installation. Despite multiple attempts, I’ve received no response, no site visit, and no effort to engage in a conversation. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I will be posting this review across all known LLC and address variations (of which there are a few) of Maxxima Concrete on Yelp, Google, and the BBB. If the situation remains unresolved, I will pursue further action through small claims court. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions. A fair price and initial effort do not compensate for poor follow-through and disregard for customer concerns."
