"Quick response time. Accurate estimate. Started work when they said they were going to - finished when they said they were going to. The patio is absolutely beautiful, and the workers were professional and friendly; working harder than ever, even on those horrible hot days. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a job done well."

"Mike was amazing! He showed up quickly after our flooding and was able to assess our problem was coming from the chimney. He gave us an honest, fair estimate. We decided to hire him, he came Monday morning and finished by the afternoon. The guys were friendly, cleaned up well and did quality work! We would definitely hire him again in a minute! 10 stars!!"

"They did a pretty good job with the patio itself. However, left a lot of concrete and screws all around it. They also dumped a bunch of concrete in my back yard behind my shed. I was not at all happy when I saw that. Very unprofessional. Also, one of my dogs I tied out back chewed threw his lead and got paw prints on the concrete. I asked about fixing it. I was told it could be fixed. I called him again about it then, never heard from him again. I totally expected to pay for that service as it was not their fault. But, instead they chose to ignore me. I picked up lots of concrete chunks and long screws around the patio."

"Fabulous job adding stone to driveway. Very professional. Did extra work to prepare driveway, which was not part of "contract." Such a good job. Also cost was so much more reasonable than another company. I would highly recommend this company. "

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Excellent. I have used Harris & Company for landscape work for years now at different homes. For this job, the added in a beautiful fire pit and a seating area, as well a huge patio area that goes from my deck to the pool. They also redid my entire front entry way, changing the entire look of my house for the better. The work the entire team was meticulous. They are always friendly and professional. Looking forward to more yard renovation from these guys. I can't recommend them enough."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in New Bedford, MA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
