So we called ABC (the A-I answerer was weird and we couldn’t ask what it would cost!) and the excellent electrician Marcus came out. Turns out that the stove top is just a bit too large for the marble rectangle so he could not drop it in, but he hooked it up on top so we could use it until someone can come shave the marble enough. Marcus also put on a new Breaker in the main electrical box. He gave us all the discounts he could, which we appreciated. We have a small kitchen but he cheerfully adapted. "I was really impressed with Adrian and Mr. Sparky's service, one of the best contractors I have worked with. We are in town assisting an elderly relative with some health issues and getting her house back in order. There were 2 light fixtures that are probably 30 years old that did not work and needed to be replaced, I am handy, so I dived right in, I found some very odd issues with the wiring and needed to get someone with more electrical knowledge. We called Mr. Sparky after trying to schedule with at least 6 other electricians, all of them were at least 3 weeks out for service. The first appointment they had was 2 days out, we were overjoyed to schedule! Around 3 hours later, Mr. Sparly called and said they had some schedule changes and could come out that very afternoon, AMAZING, SAME DAY SERVICE! Adrian arrived and was professional, knowledgeable and very likable. He did a full assessment of the electrical system and offered us several options, from just solving our problem, to addressing a couple urgent needs, to bringing the whole house up to current standards with some options to protect us for the future. We picked a middle of the road approach. Adrian fixed our light fixtures, redid the wiring leading to a ceiling fan on the lanai and checked several other electrical concerns we had. He did all of this in a couple hours, was friendly and entertaining and most importantly, caring and compassionate to my elderly mother in law. The price was right on quote and not out of line with what I expected. I have worked in the trades and back home I work in real estate and deal with contractors all the time, you rarely run into a company as dedicated to customer service as what I saw today with Adrian and Mr. Sparky. We have more work to do on this house in the future and for electrical needs Mr. Sparky will be our first and only call."

"Having dealt with an array of contractors during our renovation - the good, the bad and the ugly - I'm pleased to report that East-West Electric are definitely some of the good guys. Helpful from start to finish, always dependable and above all excellent communicators!  My only mistake was opting out of putting more of our can lights on dimmers like they had recommended. Our lighting is still beautiful, inside and out.

Pricing was beyond fair for the quality of work they do combined with convenience and peace of mind. I would recommend them for any home renovation. I also suggested them to my boss who has since hired them to install solar panels at our warehouse in Largo and that project has also been smooth sailing.
