"Scott painted all the interior walls in our new house, he patched and painted the garage and made it so much nicer, he painted our kitchen cabinets, which turned out beautiful and saved us so much money compared to refacing, and he also painted a tricky accent wall covered with reclaimed wood after patching it, and that changed from a weird problem to an elegant feature of the house. All these projects were expertly done on time while I was away, and his estimates for each were accurate and lower than those of his competitors. "Great! Darwin and his crew painted almost the whole interior of our house and stained the floors we had sanded, to get it ready for sale. It was done quickly and well. No missed spots, drips, etc. They cleaned up too and covered or masked areas not to be painted. Our schedule changed a lot and they were flexible, holding off when we needed them to, for other contractors to work, but when called in again came right away and did their work. Darwin kept in touch daily and often texted me photos so I could see the progress, Our buyers wanted input on the color and gloss of the floor stain and he worked with them to get it the way they wanted but stay in our budget . Afterward he came back and did some minor fixes the other contractor never got to and hauled away way the trash the other contractor left behind. We were up against closing date and I really appreciated his attitude. He told me he would do whatever needed to help us get the house ready for the buyers. "The approximate cost was $1300. The guys were nice. But the paint job isn't holding up that well. From the wall were my alarm is when the wall gets touch the paint is coming off. I don't think they did do a primer. It's not holding up I can see were it needs to be touched up in hallway and the laundry room where they painted and same in the kitchen. They were kind of in a hurry so they didn't spend time on prep. That's the kind of comment I will make to future customer. It looks good but they don't do a lot of prep. There were areas that have to be touched up.  It's not even a full year yet. They kind of want to get in and out.  Initially he came in with a price. He verbally gave me quotes for each room and because I am a female. He went outside to his truck to come back with the final bill and it was 3 times than what he said for each room. I say to him I guess I have to give you a not so great review on Angie's List because the quote and the integrity of all that is part of why I use Angie's List. When I said that he called me back and said oh I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking. That wasn't the quote I wanted to give you. I am like oh my god if I hadn't said that this guy will be taking me to the cleaners. They were on time. They were professional."
