"We are very happy with the roofs that Tom and Twin Metals installed for us--on the house and on the garage. When we asked for an estimate, we got a detailed and very fair estimate within a short time. Once we signed the contract, our project was scheduled promptly, and there was no interruption in the work until it was complete. Tom came back to inspect, and explained everything in full detail. He also brought people back to address a few minor imperfections that he noticed. We've now been through a wet winter with our new roof, and we couldn't be happier."

"My experience with L-A-C Steel Fabrication was ideal. Matt emailed me soon after I used Angi to request quotes and he offered to estimate my job. His emails were prompt and gave information on details that showed mastery of his craft. The estimate he gave was the ultimate price he billed. Every communication was prompt, and so was his arrival to do the work. He did the repair of two sections of iron railing expertly -- welding in replacement pieces and painting to match the current. Thank you, Matt and L-A-C Fabrication."

"We asked Amaral Industries to bid on a cable rail system for our newly constructed front steps. Eduardo came to our house and discussed the design, and mentioned a concern that a cable rail system might not be appropriate for our stairs and landing. His main concern was that the sharp angles and corners of the landing, as well as the point where the landing and stairs meet, would not be appropriate for a cable system. But he agreed to investigate further. At that time, Eduardo took very detailed measurements of our steps so that he could accurately recreate the stairs back in his shop. This would allow him to build the railings and be sure that they would fit the stairs perfectly.
Eduardo got back to us promptly, confirming his concern and recommending that we build a steel railing system instead of the cable system. He showed us detailed designs and gave us a fixed bid for all of the work, including installation and consultation with building inspectors, if necessary. We agreed to proceed with the project, and paid him a deposit to begin the project.
We were extremely happy with the whole process, as well as the finished installation. Throughout the process Eduardo or someone in the shop kept us informed of their progress. When the railings were complete and the galvanizing process was finished, he scheduled the installation within days.
The installation at our home occurred today (9/2/15). There were lots of details, including drilling holes in the steps and landing. Eduardo and his crew were very thorough, detailed, and neat in their work. They kept the whole area clean, and were respectful of the landscaping surrounding the stairs and landing. The holes drilled in our bluestone were very neat, and they did not scratch the surface of any of our steps or landing. They protected other surfaces with cardboard to avoid any damage during installation.
My wife and I are extremely happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future, or to recommend them to others.
"

"Estimated on 2/19/16 and installed on 3/11/16. On installation day the company owner showed up as scheduled with a team of installers. We walked through the house and talked about the placement of the indoor units (1 down and 1 up). Then we went outside, lucky to have an unseasonably mild day, to discuss the placement of the two outdoor units. It is not necessary to have multiple outside units in a multi-zone system like this, but we were educated by the owner that to run two separate condenser units is much more energy efficient and cost effective (operation-wise and rebate-wise) than running a single, large multi-zone condenser unit. Fortunate to have to right place for these two units outside our home, we went with this, more efficient system set-up.
When we were discussing the outside situation of the equipment my husband noticed there was a significant dent in one of the units. When we pointed this out to the owner, he immediately insisted that it was not acceptable and had an installer take the damaged unit back to his shop and to return with a replacement. Fortunate we were that he had another of these units in stock at his shop. From that point on the installation was smooth and painless, taking only about three hours. One of the installers focused entirely on the indoor units and when these were both installed and ready to test, he tested them with us present and then showed us how to operate the units with the remote controls included with the equipment. All the installers were personable and polite.
The owner came prepared with paperwork completed to help us submit applications for the two rebate we would qualify for with this installation. The second rebate is conducted by email and he walked us through all the documents required and the formats and the completion of the on-line application. Very thorough and extremely helpful! Also, there's an energy efficiency tax credit available for this system and the owner responded very timely with the itemized invoice we will need to substantiate this tax credit for our 2016 income tax return. Also, because Jay Moody LLC is a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer the standard warranty is extended from 7 years to 12 years.
An important thing to note with these systems, the Mitsubishi indoor units are pretty big, i.e. 36" w x 9" d x 12" h. The size of the units are not driven by the BTU's, all indoor units are the same - except for the Mitsubishi "GE" and discontinued "FE" series equipment which are not much smaller at 32" wide We would suggest you be careful to examine the specs on the equipment you are considering and carefully evaluate where you might want to install them.
The system is extremely quiet and we are very excited to have this installed and ready to run the house as a sealed, climate controlled environment for the quickly upcoming pollen season. Last year was such a mess with all the pollen coming in the windows - YUK! Also, we are very happy we will no longer have to take up our precious few windows in our small (1300 sq ft) home with traditional window A/C units.

"

"I want to replace all the wrought-iron on my seaside home with non-rusting powder-coated aluminum. There are multiple components to the job, all needing to be custom made to a high spec. I am lucky to have found Rob! He did a fantastic job on fabrication and installation of the window grilles, and I have already engaged him for the next two projects."

"There once was a crooked fence...... and this guy installed it for me or at least a railing. Having read the reviews I was OK with having Jake do the job even though at $1600 things seemed a bit pricey. I had a patio put in and Jake was hired to do the railing for the stairs. As you can see from the photo the middle section spindles are not perpendicular.
"

"My kitchen was renovated in the summer of 2011. With the contractor and the cabinet company blaming each other for my stove not aligning with the hood and the backsplash, I gave up on them and found Granite Metal Services. Bob Watts was eager to come out and solve the mystery. He and I came up with a plan to disguise the obvious problem. Bob drew up 2 templates to determine which would cast less of a spotlight on the issue. He is diligent and very personable. I wish I had other projects for him to do!"
