"We had banging & whistling noise from steam radiator pipes and the very old (but good) oil boiler during very cold days. He diagnosed what needed to be done. It was a serious amount of work, replacing a very old, badly corroded pipes and regular cleaning of the boiler. We could have had serious flooding if this had not been noticed and replaced it. Unlike other person's diagnosis, he knew exactly what needed to be done. It took three days to finish everything. He was very professional, experienced and very thorough and we are so relieved to have oil boiler /steam radiator running smoothly. Keeping an old house is an on-going job and it was so nice to have someone work very professionally. He offered warranty as well, so we know he is there for us should there be any issues. "At the end of July during the hottest days of the year, I lost BOTH A/C zones at the same time in my home. Needless to say, it was very hot in the house. I called Orange County Mechanical for an estimate after seeing exceptionally high reviews from both Angie's List and Google reviews. The owner, Ed O'Hara, came over the next day, gave me an estimate and literally "walked me through" everything that was needed to do to get the two zones back up, answered all questions, and the complete cost. Since I had a "builders" A/C system over 15 years old, it used freon which is no longer available along with two very inefficient condensers. I needed to replace the whole A/C system. He didn't try to sell things that were not needed, just what was needed to have a practical high efficiency two zone A/C system at an excellent price. Before he had left, he took the time to check the A/C condensers to see if he could get them up and running, at least until he could install the new system. Fortunately, he was able to get one of them running just enough to cool some of the house and he didn't want anything for it. It two days to remove the old equipment from the attic and outside and replace it with a new higher efficient two zone Trane A/C system. He put down floor protectors everywhere, left everything clean upon completion, removed all the old equipment and debris and swept the driveway clean when they were finished. Ed and his workers were very professional and polite throughout the whole time they were installing and removing equipment. Obviously he takes pride in his work and I highly recommend this company to all my friends and family and will be using him again. A job well done!"

"This company is wonderful. The guys who came out when I had an emergency are seriously knowledgeable, resourceful, and professional. They came out in the snow, within a couple of hours of my calling them, and replaced a busted water heater by that evening we had hot water for showers. I live in a newer house and I'm not knowledgeable about how things work and they stepped me through what I should look out for and also what I should do if we have another emergency. I'm blown away by how they were able to replace the water heater in one day. This included purchasing it and picking it up and installing it. Plus, they also got to the root of the problem that had caused other costly repairs and replacements for me which was a faulty water pressure gauge that was installed by the builders.
