"I purchased a new screen door from Graboye’s for my daughter’s new house. The door itself is top quality and the young man, TJ, who installed it did so with precision and accuracy. I’m very, very pleased!"

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"I called Custom Pull Out Shelves to have them quote me on custom pull outs. My intention was to have our kitchen cabinets painted and add new pull outs. After meeting and talking with Tom I ruled out having the cabinets painted and started seriously looking into having them refaced. I searched Angie's list for three companies that refaced cabinets and setup interviews with all three. Tom from Custom Pull Outs was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. I felt no pressure to sign a contact or commit to anything at any time. The one thing that sold me was that all the work would be done by employees of CPOS not subcontractor. It was a pleasure dealing with a company that takes the customers satisfaction very seriously. <br />"

"Rick Brown Contracting Review I recently had the pleasure of working with Rick Brown Contracting on a basement renovation project, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Right from our initial consultation, Rick impressed me with his professionalism and expertise. He took the time to understand my vision for the space and offered valuable insights and suggestions that truly elevated the project. His attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the work. Throughout the renovation, Rick and his team were punctual, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. They maintained a clean and organized work environment, which I greatly appreciated, especially since the basement is a part of my home that I use as my office and studio, and wanted to keep it as fully functional as possible during the process. Communication was seamless; I was kept informed every step of the way, and any questions I had were answered promptly. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding! The finished basement exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and it’s clear that Rick has experience and takes great pride in his work. He transformed the space into a beautiful, functional area that I can’t wait to show off to family and friends. I also want to highlight his commitment to staying within budget and timeline. There were no unexpected costs, and the project was completed in an efficient, expedient manner, which is a rarity in the contracting world. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional contractor for your home improvement needs, look no further than Rick Brown Contracting. I wholeheartedly recommend him and will definitely be reaching out to him for future projects. Thank you Rick, for turning my basement dreams into reality! Larry Alleyne"

"Worked primarily with Chip, John and Brian. We really wanted to get rid of our drop ceiling and the dining room and take out the wall between it and the kitchen to give us an open floor plan. We live in a house build in the 1920's so I was worried what we would find when we started opening things up. The Home Improvement Coach spent a lot of time with me prior to the project starting and because of their experience working in older homes, made me feel comfortable that if anything did come up, they could handle it. They did a fantastic job and completed the project on time and on budget. My biggest things when evaluating contractors are quality of work and communication. The Home Improvement Coach excels at both. I was happily surprised during the project at their willingness to clean up thoroughly at the end of every day. Even though they were working at the house for a couple weeks, they understood that we still had to live there and did everything they could to allow us to be comfortable in the evenings. Every time we had questions or concerns, Chip and team were quick and happy to respond. We made some changes during the project and to no surprise, they were happy to accommodate. I would highly recommend Chip and look forward to having them back to renovate our kitchen."

"Sept 13, 2017 Jim Rice visited our laundry room to check and give estimate. He indicated that he will have to open the wall. He will re-route the pipes. Install new one lever faucet for washer recessed in the wall above the washer in a box. He will change sink faucet. He indicated that he will be able to do the job on Friday Sept 22, 2017. His estimate was between $200 and $250. On Sept 14 afternoon, I awarded the project to Jim Rice. Since job was simple and straightforward and only Jim was involved, I did not see necessity of getting in written details of the job described verbally by Jim during the estimate. On Sept 22, 2017 Jim arrived at 8:15 am. He finished the job by 11 am. His methods were different than I read about plumbing. He did not open the wall. Re-routing was done outside the wall. He did not find it necessary to install a recessed box for the washer faucet. We did not get 43” clear height. It was just about 41 and 7/8”. Because of that we did not get more depth on the platform that I was expecting. Re-routing is not done but not nicely (pipes are not in parallel. It works but does not look professional). He charged $250. As seen in the photos I installed the washer but could not take deep enough due to lack of height of the new piping. Object of the project was partially met but original plan described during the estimate was not followed."
