The front concrete steps had sunken so low that it was dangerous to use them. We negotiated the color desired and the price for the walk and the steps. Wow, he and his 2-man crew came the next Saturday, worked all day to perfect the design, and they were done by early Sunday afternoon. Elo was friendly, professional, and his team did excellent work. "Aidan was great to work with and his workers were excellent. Our yard had a big, ancient patio of large, uneven bluestone. I wanted the yard to look "home-made" - as it was -but the stone was so uneven it was a tripping hazard. Aidan had his workers dig up the the bluestone and 8 inches of dirt. (I needed to terrace the very back of the yard, which sloped and had exposed tree roots, so instead of carrying all the soil out through the house - a brownstone in Brooklyn - the workers put about a third of it in the back and even leveled it out for me.) The 20 X 22 patio area was filled with crushed stone, then sand, then two men spent a few more days carefully and artfully re-laying the stone. They replaced some moss-covered edging I had grown attached to and even thoughtfully placed bricks that were dug up as borders around the plantings. Without being asked! There was a bit of miscommunication about exactly where the stone was to have ended but, when I noticed it AFTER all was finished, Aidan sent his men back the next day to put it right. No hassles. I don't think there would have been any problem if Aidan had been here, but he had to be away because he became a father in the middle of the job. I recommend him highly."

"The most important detail is that CP stands by its work. A problem did develop over the winter, but company made it clear that they would make repairs gratis. I've only had this kind of work done once, so I can't compare the experience to that of any other company, but these guys were competent and responsive. I do wish I'd been onsite to check the work as it progressed; they could have cleaned up a bit better. Still, largely satisfied, as was a neighbor who also used them and recommended them to me.
